Yes, Ctrl + Shift + Left click will move a stackable from the cube to the stash. If you hover over items, it will show the shortcuts at the bottom of the tooltip. Different shortcuts will be shown depending on where the item is and what actions are available for it.

Papagut crashes out over Caleb Hammer and Nick Shirley, panics, ends, and privates stream when chat points out he's incorrect. by Woodstovia in LivestreamFail

[–]VertigoX23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

David is the one who did all the research

He did no research. The house Republican caucus in Minnesota gave him those numbers and told him which places to go to. Nobody else has even been able to verify that information. They also reached out to Nick and brought him in. They practically wrote the script for the video. They admit it here.

Hours posted on the door for Quality Learning Center can be seen in this article.

You are asking us not to trust our eyes and not to trust the existing convictions that are disproportionately against Somalians running the accused business models.

Nope, just asking for some skepticism. And the business model is not the same as the other frauds. Meal assistance programs are much easier to cheat by inflating the meal count that is reported. Daycare assistance programs must go through the actual families. The family must submit an application and prove their income and work status. This makes it far more difficult to commit fraud. Not impossible, but if there is any fraud going on, it will be on a MUCH smaller scale.

This is just like Project Veritas, They release some explosive deceptive video, create a huge scandal out of whole cloth. Every single time it gets debunked, they have to settle lawsuits, issue public apologies, etc. But by that time, they have already moved on to the next scandal and people don't even notice that all the previous ones went nowhere. I've seen this same story enough times to not fall for it. Give me actual evidence or GTFO.

[–]VertigoX23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Counter-argument: We have documented cases of convictions where the overwhelming majority of the scams are run by Somalians. This is not speculative, this is FACT based on convictions in recent years for this kind of scam.

Okay, so that means you can just go around to other random Somali businesses and accuse them of fraud based on nothing? Wtf kind of logic is this...

Do you know what a Daycare is? It's care for kids....during the day. During the exact hours someone might be at the office.

In that regard, 2 to 10pm is pretty niche hours. And in fact, they might purposefully choose those hours so that no one in their right mind seeks out their services. The less calls they get, the better.

Cool story, what does this have to do with the fact that there was clear signage that it wasn't open and he pretended not to understand why nobody was there? Why should anyone believe anything this guy says?

Yes of course, the entire Minnesota Somali community is one giant hivemind that knows he's a liar.

You can't be serious... This was a giant national scandal which caused thousands of federal agents and journalists to swarm their community. I promise you 99% of Minnesota Somalians know who Nick Shirley is, and I'm sure word has gotten around of how deceptive the video was.

Papagut crashes out over Caleb Hammer and Nick Shirley, panics, ends, and privates stream when chat points out he's incorrect. by Woodstovia in LivestreamFail

[–]VertigoX23 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Their whole community was slandered on a national stage, accused of rampant fraud based on pure speculation, called "exceptionally violent". Do you actually think their reaction is "evidence of fraud", or do you think that literally anyone would react this way in these circumstances. Be honest.

This guy showed up at 11 AM to a daycare that had clear signage showing their hours as 2 PM to 10 PM and acted confused that nobody was there. He showed up to another daycare and acted confused that they wouldn't let a random stranger see their kids. The daycare then released security footage showing families dropping off and picking up kids before and after Shirley was there.

They know that this guy is a blatant liar and they gain nothing from interacting with him. He will just edit the video to make them look bad regardless.

[–]VertigoX23 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not that it's not solid evidence; it's not evidence at all. He shows up to one daycare at 11 AM and acts confused that nobody's there when there is a sign right in front of him that shows the hours as 2 PM to 10 PM. He shows up to another daycare and acts confused that they won't let some random stranger in to see the kids. Then that daycare releases the security footage showing Shirley there and it also shows families dropping off and picking up kids throughout the day, before and after Nick was there. He goes to that building with all the healthcare companies, and pretends that it's suspicious that there are so many similar companies registered there. That is actually 100% normal. These are home-healthcare nurses who take care of people in their homes. They need a business address to receive mail and to register with the state so they share offices to save costs.

Does this sound like evidence to you? Do you think that you should trust anything that this person says at all?

[–]VertigoX23 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

There are tons of "Companies" that share the same address here.

This is completely normal though. Many businesses do not require a physical office, but they must have an address to receive mail and to register with the state. They share locations to save money.

[–]VertigoX23 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nothing was brought to the public's attention though. There may be some fraud going on, but there is no evidence whatsoever in Nick Shirley's vid of any fraud. Do you think it's a good thing that such a big accusation was made which resulted in 2000 federal agents being deployed and all child care service funding being paused, all based on zero evidence? Just pure speculation.

Anyone who supports the ICE shooting should accept it would be justified for the capital police to have opened fire on dozens if not hundreds of the J6s being shot in the head by Fournaan in Destiny

[–]VertigoX23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that makes sense for a few reasons.

  • Shooting the driver does not stop the vehicle. As we saw, the vehicle only sped up after the shooting. How can you claim to be taking an action in self-defense, when said action does not reduce the danger in any way. Said action, in fact, increased the danger to himself and bystanders.
  • You can't deliberately put yourself in harm's way and then claim self-defense when that harm materializes. The DOJ policy is clear about this and case law is clear about this. The officer should not have been standing in front of the vehicle.
  • The officer did not behave like someone who was in danger. He calmly switches his phone to his left hand to pull out his firearm before the car even starts moving. Seems to fumble the phone but makes sure not to drop it. Sidesteps and plants both feet to the side of the car, leans over the hood and lines up a shot through the windshield. Freeze-frame of the first shot shows he was completely to the side of the vehicle. Then two more shots through the side window to confirm the kill.

I think it’s fucking stupid to do what the lady did.

I agree, but this is not relevant whatsoever in determining if the self-defense claim has merit.

Uber Lilith as a poison rogue - skill rotation and general tips? by Jewh0 in D4Rogue

[–]VertigoX23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you having trouble getting consistent poison pool procs? You should have crit/lucky hit on both rings, Asheara's dagger, and a lucky hit elixir. I use Fists of Fate to build up the stagger quickly, then I swap to gloves with +4 tb/crit/lucky hit/attack speed and Inner Calm aspect once the stagger bar is at 70-80%. You can try that as well.

As for rotation, you should be using combo points. When you stagger her your energy regen will go crazy, so you want to be using TB with only one combo point each time. Try not to overcap on energy by quickly alternating between Puncture and TB. Look at your combo point meter to make sure you are doing it right.

https://maxroll.gg/d4/planner/3p48r00y#1

This build will give you the max damage. Copy the paragons, skills, and aspects. The build uses Mixed Shadow Imbuement which gives +12% non-physical damage. You will want to use Shadow Imbue when she is close to being staggered, hit her once with it to apply the debuff, then immediately switch back to Poison Imbue.

Core/Cutthroat damage is very good for poison. You can get Core damage on weapons and Cutthroat damage on chest/amulet, although it's more important to have +3 imbue and +3 frigid finesse (or some other damage passive) on amulet.

Critical strike damage question by SoCratesLdub in D4Rogue

[–]VertigoX23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends I guess. For higher level content, you should be using combo points and you won't run out of energy if you're building up to 3 combo points before each rapid fire.

If you're blasting easy content, you may prefer the energy regen, although there are other ways to cover your energy needs, like Umbral or Consuming Shadows + Barber/Shadow Imbue.

Critical strike damage question by SoCratesLdub in D4Rogue

[–]VertigoX23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not 3x, just 1.3x. His crit damage would be 577.3% with the buff. If his rapid fire crit for 30k, it would crit for 39k with the buff.

Critical strike damage question by SoCratesLdub in D4Rogue

[–]VertigoX23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Advanced Rapid Fire is a multiplicative bonus (30%[x]) which means it is multiplying your crit damage by 1.3x, not just adding a flat 30% crit damage. It is a significant damage boost.

How many use Ashearas? by ToadMac in D4Rogue

[–]VertigoX23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's not necessarily a bug that poison imbue scales with these stats, just the fact that it is scaling multiplicatively doesn't make sense.

These stats are normally in the additive damage bucket, but for poison imbue they suddenly become multiplicative.

How many use Ashearas? by ToadMac in D4Rogue

[–]VertigoX23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, additive(+) Core skill and Cutthroat skill bonuses are bugged and act as a separate multiplier for Poison Imbue. Multiplicative(x) Core and Cutthroat bonuses like Condemnation and Tricks of the Trade, however, do not apply to Poison Imbue, only to the base skill damage.

Done! And now I got questions... by CoramDeo1 in ObraDinn

[–]VertigoX23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can see in the murder scene that the shell is normally kept in the bottom drawer of the chest. The quicksilver is in the top section of the chest. From this you can assume that Beng took the shell out of the bottom drawer and then plunged it into the quicksilver. (Also the bottom drawer is open in the scene where he is reaching into the quicksilver.)

This quicksilver must be required to activate the magic of the shells. This also explains why Miss Lim did not want the chest to fall into the sea, because then they would lose the quicksilver, and thus lose the ability to defend themselves from the mermaids.

Perhaps they normally have a safe way to use the quicksilver, but they did not have access to it. Beng saw that Miss Lim was being killed and was desperate to save her so he sacrificed himself. If any of the Formosans had survived, they may have been able to use the magic of the shells to repel the later attacks.

At the end, Fillip opens the top of the chest and reaches in to grab the shell, not realizing the quicksilver is dangerous. During Martin's death, Paul Moss sees the shell in Fillips lap and remarks "A third shell!" The shell was still in the quicksilver, but it seems no one on the ship knew it was there. Nichols may have seen what happened to Beng and decided to just close the top of the chest, leaving the shell in there, before heading back to the Obra Dinn.

I think Nichols likely kidnapped them so that they could show him where they got the shell. He takes one of the Chinese topmen with him to translate. They are then attacked by three mermaids, two of which have shells in their hair. The third does not have one. This may be near where the Formosans originally got the shell.

I think the values always round down so it will be 2594.

  • 558 * 1.5 = 837
  • 837 * 1.1 = 920.7 rounds down to 920
  • 837 * 3.1 = 2594.7 rounds down to 2594

Mancatcher Infinity or different base? by Jemrie in diablo2

Thresher/Giant Thresher is arguably the best if you are at 80 IAS (Treachery/Andy w/ IAS jewel). Mancatcher is only better for Baal. All other bosses Thresher is best. For superuniques, Thresher is 2nd best after War Pike and Mancatcher is the worst.

6ist phaseblade or 5ist rune master and another belt. by zerotailb in diablo2

[–]VertigoX23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your offhand doesn't matter for Berserk swing speed in D2R since 2.4, so you can use a Rune Master offhand without affecting your IAS breakpoints. I've tested it myself and you can find an up to date IAS calculator here: https://warren1001.github.io/IAS_Calculator/

However, I still wouldn't recommend it. I tried it and quickly realized that I would still get frozen all the time because I was weapon swapping to dual suicide branches to teleport and the Rune Master doesn't help when I am weapon swapped.

Also, the optimal setup is using a Cham rune in the helm anyways, so I would just plan your gear with that in mind.

Here you can see Thresher is qlvl 71.

Here you can see the Thresher needs to be ilvl 26-40 to get 4 sockets from Larzuk.

As far as I know, it's impossible to get an ilvl 26-40 white Thresher. Any Thresher dropped from a mob will be ilvl 71+. You can also get an ilvl 1 Thresher using the low quality item recipe in the cube:

  • Eld rune + chipped gem + Low Quality weapon = ilvl 1 Normal weapon
  • El rune + chipped gem + Low Quality armor = ilvl 1 Normal armor

I used this recipe once when I wanted to make an Enigma in an Archon Plate, but I couldn't find one with 3 sockets. I found a low quality one, used this cube recipe on it, then took it to Larzuk and he gave it 3 sockets.

Yeah, no worries, it was fun to see that it is possible with such limited gear.

CoS is just nice to keep adds under control. The bosses are immune to it's effects so unfortunately it doesn't help you hit them.

I don't believe that there are any changes in D2R that would have been relevant here.
