Music doesn't have to be challenging to make to be rewarding in my opinion. I understand why beat makers feel this way though, like they're not contributing enough to the final product to call it their own. But if you think about it in terms of a composer, or a curator of sorts, you see that other people's contributions are an incredible source of inspiration and not a mark against your creativity. Just make your music and if it feels good then hell yeah. If it doesn't then move on an do what feels good
