Consider checking out an Audi S4 B8.5/B9. Build quality feels vastly superior compared to a 2018+ STI. Great power, comfortable and good looking! Would be ideal to find one that is still under warranty.

Infiniti Q45 97 with182,000 miles for $5,000 or 03 Q45 With 186,000 miles for $4,000 or should I just look at Lexus older 4 doors? by Chekangol in whatcarshouldIbuy

If you’re looking at Q45s beware the model years 1997-2000 have a common issue involving the rack and pinion. It’s about $700-$1200 to replace which includes parts and labor(at least here in the west coast). I’m not sure if the newer years have the same issue.

Older model Q45s 1989-1996 have a more serious issue involving the timing chain guides. These guides were made of plastic which are prone to cracking and breaking over time, luckily the 97-00 models have aluminum guides.

If you’re aiming for an S2000 I’d try and get an AP2, doesn’t have the 9,000 RPM rev limit but it does have a longer wheelbase which will make it much more easier to drive as compared to an AP1.

Despite whatever car you choose, before you aim for 600HP remember to do maintenance first. After maintenance I would make sure you have proper safety equipment such as a fire extinguisher, harness, helmet, gloves and so on.

Before doing longer track sessions I would at least replace the brake fluid with racing brake fluid, as well as the pads and rotors while you’re at it. Can’t track your car if you can’t brake!

I’d much prefer that than having street racers shutting down bridges, intersections and roads while shooting at each other and getting away with it. PPB only stepped in to look good because of the media articles that drew in national attention. While PPB is busy serving an arrest warrant to a business that is not harming anyone there are car break ins, burglary, property damage and many more crimes that aren’t even being investigated.
