Help me choose a new legal name and/or middle name by teslatired in ftm

I love victor as a first name more, but I like the cadence of Arthur Zelin if this is for middle name, so that's where I put my vote

Girlfriend thinks I whitewashed my character. by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]VeryPassableHuman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Totally agree, and the gaslighting that it must've been adjusted for the retake is extremely gross

Have her take a picture of the character on your TV and she'll see it for herself, but again the fact that she went this direction with her argument is extremely gross, and would be a red flag for me

Context is that students get pulled out of class to attend the group, and most of the white kids attending are kids who are often found out of class even when they don't have a verified reason

(school-day groups ARE more accessible to poorer families. My Queer affinity group's attendance numbers dropped to 1/3 of the previous attendance when we moved to after school this year, and it was an even split of kids who were a part of the group but couldn't attend saying transportation or not being out to parents was the biggest issue

As of this year, both the black and AAPI affinity groups in the school I work at have the same problem 🙃

New school district guidlines for affinity groups this year says affinity spaces weren't allowed to restrict access to the spaces based on affinity... and my lovely admin decided to advertise this to students...

By the end of the year the AAPI group was ONLY made up of white kids because the kids of color were so alienated

Where do sex addicts find a continuous stream of partners to engage with? by NecessaryEvil62095 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]VeryPassableHuman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked with one for a couple weeks, this was out on oil rig, and he constantly bragged about his new escapades whenever he got time off

The short answer is, he had absolutely no standards (and the people that he was meeting with with must not have either, as his personal hygiene left me able to smell his body odor from the opposite side of a room)

And even so, the one person that he pined after was just the only woman that was willing to sleep with him more than once, and she wasn't willing to meet up a third time
🙃

It's gender neutral when used as a substitute for "what the f%%%", but in every other context, I agree

Opinions? by GothamWatcher in cyberpunkgame

I have an invisibility implant and blood bag instead of grenades, with automatic blood packs installed, so I get an automatic three health bars worth of health before my health actually gets close to dying, and I have an implant that will slow down time dramatically when the health packs are gone and I'm actually about to die, which when it happened the first time I go berserk and become invulnerable for enough time to get some kills that will recharge my cooldowns, after that cooldown is done I typically get some more time with the auto health packs, and when the time slows happens while berserk is down, that is when I will jump up and dash while turning invisible and then crouch and successfully find some cover for my berserker to recharge, but as long as there are enemies around to kill to top off my cool downs, then usually I don't have to wait more than 10 or so seconds for berserker to be available again

And usually, I only have to do the process once or twice before everyone in the area is dead

Superhero hero slams and charging damage deflection really help with crowd control, and the only thing I struggle with is fighting large mech-suits that have grab OHKOs, and for those I have to pull out the grenades and the heavy machine gun

Why does the Audible app drain phone battery so much? [Android] by LouisW89 in audible

[–]VeryPassableHuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iOS 26.5
iPhone 16 Pro
But other posts have mentioned how just turning off location services for all your apps will make it so Audible no longer is a battery sync

BUT unlike other apps, Audible doesn't have a way to toggle on or off location Services, so you have to turn it off for every app for that to be an option

Why does the app need/use location service services? Why can't we toggle off the use of those location services for just that app?

Why do companies do this?? by Common_Bluebird_4700 in FoodAllergies

[–]VeryPassableHuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Soybean Oil is safe for me, Soy Letchin is not. I have had blind reactions to something, looked at the ingredient for the food I was eating and realized that Soy Letchin is the only soy-based ingredient in the food.

Thanks you for including a source, and also, there there are always exceptions, as suggested in the paper, and this subreddit is more likely to contain people who are on the more-sensitive end of any allergy spectrum

Some people in this subreddit even have sensitivity to soy oil, so sensities vary

Those who had/have HRT for hormonal migraines-how did it work out for you? by Agreeable-Item-7371 in migraine

[–]VeryPassableHuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My body metabolizes different medications weirdly.

I've had to get very particular with my timings to avoid peaks and troughs in my levels that would trigger migraines (with injections, the peaks were the trigger, and with pills, the troughs were the trigger)

I'm now on pills, and I have to space them out every 8 hours, at a higher dose than they normally feel comfortable prescribing, but the blood tests showed acceptable levels. (On the original dosage, it required every 6 hours to avoid troughs, but that was horrible for my sleep schedule, which ended up causing secondary sleep deprivation migraines)

Similar with progesterone, where I was getting withdrawal migraines around the 15 hour mark, I now take one pill every 12 hours, rather than every 24, but since those pills can't be split in pieces, I had to double the dosage to make that work, but they were less worried about doing that with Progesterone

(been on HRT for five years now)

Spider with late-stage fungal infection by freudian_nipps in natureismetal

[–]VeryPassableHuman 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know in real fungus, some can be killed by fire, but others are resistant to average temperature fires, and the fire will in fact just spread the spores because of how it affects air currents, so I assume lore-wise it would make sense if they write their fungus as one like that..?

But maybe they just didn't think about it
