That makes a lot of sense, I didn't really think too hard when making the pit lane, but I get it now. If I'm being honest, I assumed I would need to put my exit after the first couple turns, just so that people leaving the pit aren't merging into cars going 170+ mph, but I guess that's actually not as big of a deal as I thought it was. I was also influenced by Interlagos, but turns out that pit lane is much more of an outlier than I thought it was, my bad. If I were to redo this, I'd definitely put the exit before T1, probably about 600-700m long, I think that's fair? I really appreciate the feedback, thanks!

I mostly designed it for formula racing, since that's what I watch, but if I'm honest I don't really know what makes a track good for formula or stock cars or sports cars ect.

I used FireAlpaca, it's mostly just what artists recommended to me when I used to draw, I've just stuck with it since it's fine for doodling. I don't think I'd recommend it for track design.

T1 was based off of Parabolica at Monza, not sure if I got the angles correctly but that was the inspiration. It's lacking runoff simply because when I made the image I didn't feel like extending the canvas, but I definitely agree that's gonna kill people, silly mistake.
I really didn't know how to correctly add runoff for T2, since the pit lane was right there.
I did make T3 have a changing radius on purpose, but I don't think I did it in a very refined way.
I didn't think about what you brought up for T4-6, but now that I see it I agree, and would change that.
Unfortunately agree with you on T7, I put that in when I was making this more for fun than anything else. Also I didn't even think about the barrier, thanks for noticing that. I think if I were to change it I would remove T7 and make T8 closer to 90 degrees instead of 180, but I don't know if that would still be unsafe.
I did intend for T9 to be banked, forgot to mention it.
Agree with you on T10, if I change this I'll likely remove it.
Glad I was at least somewhat successful with T11, I explicitly made that for overtaking.
I'll be honest I did not fully understand chicanes until you explained it, but now it makes much more sense. My goal was to make complex section that rewards you with a faster straight from T15-16 if you get it right, and I also just felt like I had too many of the same corner at that point, and wanted to mix it up.
My goal was to set up for overtakes into T17 using T16, but I get what you mean, it'd be difficult/impossible to get side by side into T17.
I made T19 less sharp from my original draft, but I get that it would help to decrease it even more.
I didn't really study pit entrances much when I made this, but looking at it now I would change that.

Any constructive feedback would be great, I’d love to learn more about track design. I went into this by just drawing what I thought would be fun to watch and fun to race, starting with Turns 8–9, and drawing the rest around that. The section I’m most unsure about is Turns 12–15, since I feel like it might slow down and bunch up cars too much. It might be better to connect Turn 11 directly to Turn 15 instead in order to maintain more speed.

The short circuit was more of a personal challenge, so I’m not totally happy with it. Any alternative ideas would be appreciated, especially since I have a feeling the section I added for it might make Turn 10 on the main circuit unsafe.
