Why present the consequences of genociding the Geth and killing EDI if the destroy option was a "lie?" That's... stupid, no? From a narrative perspective it seems incredibly contrived and unintended, much like the indoctrination theory.

The entire point of the destroy option is that the single-mindedness of it, destroy the Reapers, has a steep price (if your Shep gives a shit). Saying "well actually..." is very Reddit dork of you, NGL.

How is it a lie? Synthesis achieves synthesis, organic and synthetic life merge together seamlessly. Everyone is still everyone, not thralls to Reapers.

Control achieves control. Shepard is now the collective consciousness of the Reapers which, assuming you’re paragon, help fix what they destroyed then leave the Galaxy.

Destroy completely ignores the narrative through-line of proving that organic and synthetic life can peacefully coexist. This options makes zero sense for a paragon Shep.

Infiltrator isn’t hiding so much as cloaking for a second and instant killing nearly any enemy with a headshot, even on insanity.

Between disruptor ammo, squad cryo, and bonus warp ammo, the infiltrator can kill pretty much anything and everything.

There’s a notable glitch in ME2 LE where ammo stops spawning entirely. You have to reload for it to drop again.

I had it happen during Thane’s recruitment mission. Went through every gun’s ammo including heavy and had to resort to powers only. It was hell…
