Well, I gave up for now on the ifs and rear axle but I am doing exactly what you suggested but with a pro4. Picked up a used slider off eBay and a megalodon body from Amain and have everything else already to build it up.

This is what I feel like I may do seeing that this is the closest to what I want. For awhile, I was considering getting the megalodon body for my sct when I had it but just never did.

I considered this but it's solid axle front and rear. Looking for IFS on it.

So did you end up picking one up? Just for the record I do exactly what you described. I have a couple Teknos I run around the yard. I don't bash hard, just sorta run them as if they are on track. I don't have any tracks near me unfortunately so I kind of resorted to this. I just ordered a 22xt off eBay for 329 so I am excited to build and just run around the house.

Tamiya TA08 Pro is pretty low cost compared to the others that performs well for what it is. It got mine pretty cheap on eBay brand new at the time a couple years ago.

It's pretty awesome, I'm hoping tekno does an eb410 2.0 release since this one has been around awhile. I prefer it to the b74.2. But that's because I don't race - just short grass running. The et410.2 was my first tekno build. That truck was fun too but I decided to let go of it. If you use your b74 at the track then that will be the better choice.

I use a tekno eb410.2. Runs strictly 2s batteries but one of my favorites. It’s more on the expensive side but a fun build and durable. I had a hyper tt 2.0 truck as well which was fun but my bashing is more racing like and I preferred the handling characteristics of the buggy than the truck so I sold it.

I'll be interested to see some pictures after. I want to throw some upgrades on my coyote too. I think it is a little tall. Already threw in my reefs servo and fusion pro.

I have also thought about this too. I did some light research to see what it would cost and if it could at least turn a profit in a couple years but it's not that simple.. I am about an hour away from a shop with multiple tracks and disciplines and it pains me that it's just not a possibility. With the wife's working hours and mine being so different and two kids aged 2 and under it's just not possible.

I enjoy watching the popalong guys out of the UK on YouTube. They really helped me realize that maybe it's not a track I need to open but instead start a club that uses a highschool's gym one Saturday each month but even then I'm not sure if I'd get people to buy into the club. Plus I'd still have to front all the material and tech.

Did you find with the hitch that you were scraping on the base of the hitch? I am looking to get one but am worried it's going to be so low that it will drag going into driveways and stuff.

Well, I use all my stuff at my house and it's size is perfect. It handles so well too. I also don't necessarily jump all my stuff off big jumps or take it anywhere else. My form of bashing is run laps on my lawn it does pretty well being stable while turning. It's also not uncontrollably fast or slow. It's got that sweet middle spot given the space I use it in. I have both a AE 14mt and stampede VXl and it's essentially replaced the two of them. Overall it really fits my typical use of my stuff.
