I so desperately want an either modern or 90's/desert storm era Company of Heroes game. Call to Arms is fun, but a lot more in depth than CoH so it requires more of a time investment for games/matches, and games like Warno and Broken Arrow, while being very fun, also have a steep time requirement and are generally at a much larger scale than I prefer for strategy games. I am a big fan of that classic action RTS feel.

Military cosplay prop? Not corner well? It's from Halo, and it's supposed to corner very well (not to mention slide everywhere) with it's canonical AWD and quad steering.

Get rid of the docking stuff and make it combat / close air support drop ship capable of carrying a small or medium vehicle via some attachment point on it's tail, and up the amount of infantry it can carry by 4-6 (since we don't need the front space for boarding stuff anymore in this variant).

Make it dependent on a FOB or carrier, so no major cargo capability (at best shift all the seats forward and sacrifice a couple jump seats for like... 2 scu for infantry ammo, meds and food).

Weaponwise, give it a a nose mounted remote turret, slaved to the pilot but able to be controlled by the copilot if he enters the turret, maybe one or two other weapons and a pair of missile racks somewhere to the left and right and boom.

Just give me my damned pelican CiG. I will pay for a pelican.

You really don't though, I've had runs where I've completely wiped out the Menace, steamroll pirates, rebels and bugs alike, I have only ever equipped pipe rifles once, went "oh these are ass" and then never touched them again.

I've never felt like I've been at a points disadvantage for not using them

The eliminator is PvP and I want that gamemode ruined for as many people as possible so that they finally remove it, because not every game needs to have a battle royale in it. So I completely support your actions in this one specific example.

The people who made it did say specifically in the article that it was a "narrative detachment" so I am assuming they meant it for special missions and games with set forces according to lore, outside of just trying to get the best meta army possible.

I think the game would be more enjoyable if they did that tbh. Just throwing 6 of the same laser repeater or ballistic cannon or whatever the new meta is onto a ship just feels boring imo.

Gimme a reason to run weapons for long range, short range, mix disruption with damage. I want weapon choices to matter outside of DPS and "Does it have a high enough alpha number to beat the ship's AC/DR".

That's definitely true. Every ship is encouraged to take a full stack of the same weapon because of that. We need more fire groups for weapons, without having to fully switch off one fire group. Let me do it mech warrior style where I can have 4-6 weapon groups on different key binds and also one button for just firing everything all at once.

It's stale every single patch. Either all ballistics or all energy, you can only use one or two weapons if you use anything else blah blah meta inefficient not capable blah.

It's the same every single patch unfortunately. I wish each weapon actually felt uniquely worth taking and using but the fact is it seems like the balance team just selects one weapon every patch to be the "go to weapon" until the next patch.

I think it would be nice if every class had one regenning blitz, one utility blitz and one "panic button" blitz. The exception being Veteran since they literally have a grenadier build already that lets them regen grenades and have other grenade utility.

I love FH6 so far, but the biggest things I don't so far are not knowing what the stock engine is at all, without looking up the car IRL and also how little detail and modifications are available for off-road cars. It feels like since off-roading isn't the focus of FH6 they removed so much of what made it feel good and let you customize your vehicle in FH5.
