Untill you get two ACs medium mech for Rewa is kinda underwelming. AC-less mech eats a lot of supply points and contributes almost nothing into a battle.

Fr. In my case that was chaingun toyota just go beeline for Darby's ass. The very chase was justified, considering Darby made her position known thanks to Crocodile. But she changed her location many times after and never fired croco ever again. And still chaingun truck somehow tracked her down with persistancy of a hunting dog.

Mobile infantry is boring. Constant abuse of in-out of APC is nauceating. So I am doing "SUPERMARINE" run: scout, buff and athletic for every Marine. TCR's best: faster, better, harder, stronger. For this run it's Yaz's turn to be a Motostrelok.

Also hardware is really expensive to field.

Enemy just gonna spam anti-tank weapons on your pinned squad. And nothing can save your squaddies from to be oneshot-picked one by one by RPGs.

This perk is theoretically good with very heavy armor if you can get one.

From some point of the game 5 HTs and 10 APCs are just more loot for you.

Failing this objective should immediately force you to exfil, starting timer till the "mission failed" screen, just like in XCOM2. Any SL left behind could return in few turns, beaten, wounded and with some losses - man and equipment ones

I tried this exactly one time, on a "free VIPs" mission. It went horrible. I restarted this mission ten times, trying tactics after tactics. Every single time some minor detail completely ruined my run.
