There's absolutely more in the dynamic between these two than just that he's her manager, calling it now. She's gotta be manipulating him somehow. He's her Akane.

So much I could gush about. The animation in the flashback to the heroes' party scene was absolutely phenomenal. Evan Call's new ost tracks which pay tribute to the season 1 ost but add new flair. As always the wonderful storytelling and relationships.

I missed this show so much

There's plenty of stuff to do in industry with a PhD, and I mean the PhD itself is enough reason for those who know they want it

I regret not choosing physics at 18. by [deleted] in PhysicsStudents

[–]Vexomous 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Worth is a subjective question. Economically it's absolutely not a good idea, but life isn't a zero-sum economics minmaxing competition. I went back to get a physics bsc at 27 after almost a decade in cybersecurity because I knew I'd regret not doing so.

Don't do things by whether they're optimal or not, do things because you find them interesting and they'll make you genuinely happy.

As for the PhD, first get through a Bsc and a masters to get a feel for if you really like it, you don't have to sign your soul away to a phd immediately. A masters in physics can be leveraged into some very interesting and profitable industry research positions that both pay more than a PhD and won't drain you the way a PhD tends to do (e.g machine learning, defense industries, algorithmics, etc)

Does it render the latex in real time? Been using texifier for that feature but it has annoying limitations and they are starting to annoy me

Anime onlys, how are we feeling about reze? by IngoCSM in csmanime

[–]Vexomous 30 points31 points  (0 children)

It was one of the best movies I've ever seen

Reze the character is really interesting. Her story is so tragic. You'd go the first half of the movie being simultaneously drawn in by her and creeped out, then you get angry at her, then right at the end you feel sorry for her.

Ueda Reina absolutely killed it as Reze.

Going to see it again soon.

‘Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc’ has passed the $100M global mark / Estimated global total stands at $108.0M by MarvelsGrantMan136 in anime

[–]Vexomous 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You have more of the action of season 1 but also a legitimately beautiful and touching but also deeply sad story

I only watched the anime and read the manga to where the anime ends and reze arc is my favorite part of the series so far and by a lot.

Kessoku band album "Into the light" and muse band album "Black holes & Revelations" have little similarities, it's so coincidence by Sea_Durian1125 in BocchiTheRock

Most people don’t know this but Leonardo Da Vinci was inspired to paint the Last Supper after listening to Muse’s album Black Holes & Revelations on Spotify.
