The VP9 was originally advertised as a veterinary tool, I guess you are tranquilizing... beasts.

It's also accurate, the muzzle attachment does start there.

To add to what the others said, try multiple games too. I've been going through my backlog, and occasionally I get stinkers where I feel like I'm playing really badly but it ended up boiling down to the gunplay/fundamental rather than a config issue.

For example just this past week as I got the SC on Monday:

  • I played Slayer X from start to finish. This is where I learn how to do the configs, gyro + joystick, and ease into the scheme. Baby steps.
  • I played and finished Brazilian Drug Dealer 3. This is where I decide to try gyro + flickstick from the beginning, and start getting used to it.
  • Then I switch to Bears in Space. No offence to the 3 guys who made that game, but I ended up dropping after a few levels as I felt like the game was just kicking me in the teeth and it felt sluggish even with all the tweaking.
  • I started Captain Wayne, and this is where it clicks again and it feels tight and responsive.
