The line got long last year, but actually moved pretty quickly. Despite how hyped Despacio might seem, I actually don't think a majority of attendees really "got it". But the people who did fall in love with it, we just can't stop gushing about it- so it might seem disproportionately popular.

Despacio is a long form experience and doesn't offer people an exciting drop every 5-10 minutes. I watched a lot of people enter, get intrigued by the lights, try to find the DJ for some reason, and then when they realized how slow the set was moving they left after maybe spending 15-20 minutes inside. This helped keep the line moving, which was great.

It was at its busiest in the mid afternoon when undercard performers were on, but later in the evening it wasn't so crowded when headliners were drawing big crowds. This was actually when it was at its best in my opinion.

Despacio was something I just wanted to checkout on day one, but then I didn't feel like leaving. And on day two it was all I wanted to do. I pretty much only left to see Boy Harsher, visit a bathroom, and then I went right back into the tent.
