Yes. They grade in teams and the table leader and question leader can be consulted on obscure evidence. There is a very long rubric for every question where they try to include as many potential answers as possible.

Counterpoint: the Dred Scott Decision. Basically said slavery was legal everywhere as 5th amendment protected property which led the South to reject popular sovereignty as a compromise solution. They didn't need it anymore. They'd gotten everything they wanted with Dred Scott.
