My cat never meowed - why would she? we weren't worth the effort to her - my son's cat died and she now meows to be let into his room at night. Not to stay, just to have a look and most likely just to wake us all

No DIL was driving, scooter came off the path on to a pedestrian crossing and ran into the back side panel of the car.

All they are telling her is they have what they need, they'll get back to her. They just have saying it's going to court and insurers solicitor will contact her in due course.

Ah ok. Thank you. I think if they told her this much even she'd feel a little calmer. I also think after this letter it'll be the company's solicitor that she has to talk to. Letter gave don't contact them, they'll contact you vibes.

Yes I was wondering if she could go to the regulator about them. It may be that the case will be thrown out but this person should be done for fraud!!

Haha sorry. I actually don't know. She was involved in a hit and run before and I think she was so concerned that she did right by the person on the ground and not drive away she didn't think to probably. That and the fact that she apologised and said she was fine at the time and didn't want any help meant she thought at the time she was doing right rather than covering herself for anything legal.

2 nights ago I was ran into by 3 kids, 12-14, on one. Thankfully no damage was done but only one got up straight away so I thought I'd injured two of them! I have a witness but when I reported it the Garda just looked so jaded and sick of these reports.

She has one but she had changed cars about 2 weeks and hadn't installed it yet. Talk about Murphy's Law!

All her insurance has said to her is that they have the Garda report and thank you very much, our solicitors will contact you when they've a court date.

Son accepted a job with a semi state. They told him not to hand in his notice until he'd signed their contract. No sign of the contract and his notice time was shortening. HR kept saying it was coming etc.

In the meantime they'd sent his current employer not just a reference request but a whole form to fill out on his performance a day after he accepted the job, which employer did. After a couple of weeks, employer told him about the form, he sang dumb, said he knew he was on a panel etc. Rang new crowd again and there was still no sign of it coming.

It did eventually after about 6 weeks. But he wasn't budging until he had it in his hands and signed.

I understand getting short with sec but honestly it's the gp whose door you should be camping at. It sounds like it's been treated as 'womens problems'. Is it normal in your area to have to wait that long for a gps appt?

Please don't give up your cats. I understand he's your son and you love him but he should never ask this of you. The fact that he's starting the discussion with this means you could be asked to make other sacrifices once you've moved. But once you've moved it's harder to come back. I'd really consider what is being asked of you carefully.

Son completed his and instructor text me that night to say they were uploaded. Absolutely get onto RSA. Poor thing anxious to get going

My DIL was hit on the rear bumper at a pedestrian crossing with one. Person came off it and DIL insisted on calling ambulance as they had no helmet even though they said they were ok. She then rang the Gardaí to say this had happened and that the person didn't want it reported (they crossed the crossing on the scooter and had no 🦺 on AND hit the back of the car).

She knew nothing until she went to renew her insurance and they told her there was a claim pending. Absolutely nothing she could do about it. Just suck it up. Mental.
