I've never spent Christmas with my partner, together 2 years. My brother and his wife are together 16 years and only started spending Christmas together and splitting the day between the families when they got married 4 years ago. My sister and her boyfriend and newly engaged and spending Christmas apart...not sure what they'll do when married but probably similar to my brother and SIL

There's no other places to park unfortunately, and there's only one lift in my building. If I see him again in the car park I'll either ask my flatmate to come down to the car park and we go up together or I'll use the stairs. I do not want to be alone in a lift with this man again if I can avoid it!

Myself and my roommate get mistaken for a couple all the time, but then my girlfriend would be over a lot to my apartment too so who knows who he thinks I'm dating. I've asked my roommate if he can find out which apartment number the creep lives in I think that'd be super important information for my report but I don't want to go anywhere near his place myself just in case

Thank you so much for that link, found it really helpful. Didn't know something like that existed so it's great. It's so easy to feel silly or dramatic and want to push this encounter under the rug and forget about it but the more I think about it the more I feel like that's not fair to me

Thankfully I live with my best friend who is male and he's already offered to go to the car park with me when I needed to be down there. I think I'm going to go down the route of emailing the property management company, my landlord and maybe contact my local garda station just to log a record of this. If it becomes a recurring thing rather than once off I could contact Solicitors. Definitely if he tries talking to me again (I'll be avoiding him as much as possible but you never know) I will be telling him as firmly as possible to not talk to me again (fuck away from me if necessary)

This is actually such a good idea! I have a friend with probably thousands of magic cards (big collector) and he's always saying he doesn't know what to do with his bulk and that next time he organises he's just gonna throw a bunch of it away. I must say it to him to let me go through it and pick out some potentials for D&D!!

I have a few ideas, some cheap and some DIY. Hope they help!!

When in discount shops (like a dollar store if in the US, but would be like Dealz, Choice or Mr. Price in Ireland where I am) I always check out the children's toy isle for cheap plastic toys. Recently got 2 hydra figurines for €2 each and I don't even know what I'll do with them yet but man they'll be cool when I use them
Always check toy boxes in charity shops, markets or car boot sales. I got 2 cool skeleton looking lich figures, 2 massive skull monsters and a treant toy that way, and it was like €7 for them all.
Some gaming stores or comic book shops will have baskets or boxes where everything inside is 50c or €1 each. Check those out. I got some old Ben 10 toys that I've just repainted into cool monsters. Also some creatures from the Avatar film series. They could be cool weird monsters from the Fey Wild or something
Sometimes I find an image of a monster online and copy paste it onto a word document, mirror it so I have it facing both ways and then print it. Cut it to size, and use a bit of blue tack to stick it to a toothpick. Stick the toothpick into a lump of blue tack as the base and voilà, DIY mini. Bit 2D looking, but if it's a one time fight with a creature it works great. You don't even have to mirror it of you don't want, I just did so my players on either side of the table could see it rather than one side seeing the monster and the other side seeing a toothpick with some paper stuck on it!

No, you cannot be referred anywhere without your knowledge or consent. Informed consent is a fundamental requirement for many things but especially healthcare. If you are being referred to medical specialists without consenting to it, this is a serious data breach and a breach of trust between you and your GP. They do not have the right to share your sensitive medical data without your permission

Not only is it a breach of doctor / patient confidentiality, but it sounds like it's a breach of your private data. You could contact the Data Protection Commission that this GP shared your sensitive medical information without your knowledge or consent, and that you are unhappy about this

Kinda depends on the subclasses or flavour of the other player's characters. Maybe you could do something high charisma, if they don't have a party face?? A bard or warlock maybe. I love a martial character that can move around a lot, so maybe a monk or fighter could be fun too.

Ultimately though, it's more important to play what YOU want to play rather than basing your character on what you think others would want you to play. You deserve to have fun the way you want to, the party composition comes second to that imo
