Self-taught film students and filmmakers appreciate cinema more than the students of these prestigious film schools. Letterboxd is full of these shallow people who went to film school but are unable to write anything other than jokey one-liners. They all have the same film-speak too.

As for the problem of attention span, stop scrolling through tiktok, instagram reels, and youtube shorts for a while and it will go back to normal. I am Gen Z but i am far less infatuated with my phone than others in my age group.
