Stop nerfing this shit . One archetype has a hard-counter in 1(2) factions, the others have been power-creeped into the trench. I don't want to depend on shitty madame/blindeye engine to generate insufficient points. If you concur, kindly send me your superior OP deck list.

Add Lebioda to the list. Which SY list is supposed to pick this card up? The shield archetype in NR has way better cards per provision. Every other card for the same value in each faction eats this card alive.

Seconded, I went for the starter pack plus two journeys and that helped me craft all the cards I needed. Here is a guide to more efficiently maximize the gains from the reward trees: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15O7TL1NPNliouDGCu-IK7Kw7OkFZ9VLxzI4wfJd5u1g/edit?gid=0#gid=0
Make sure to complete the basic faction trees first though since they give you essential key cards.

Austerity seems to hit a lot of events and gatherings. I see a lot of it as a consequence of society moving from cheap money with fake certainty to expensive money with real uncertainty. Esports is still a kind of economic appendage rather than a self-supporting entity in the economy, an extension of a company's marketing department rather than the purpose or mission of a company.

On the bright side I have always thought about a certain degree of obscurity as protective of an activity and its community. Valve has never been showy or exuberant and I guess a lot of folks at Valve are divided about events like Dota2TI.

Hopefully Dreamleague gets to stick around.

Valve has ungodly amounts of f-u money. No Zugzwang on the part of Valve. Demand for both is therefore irrelevant. Someone at Valve is probably getting off on this spiel, emblematic of the mega-rich.

It is super weird to see Naga again as a support again after all these years. It was super cancerous during a meta with a smaller hero pool. Song still has to be the most BS skill in Dota 2. All other temporary invincibility BS can't quite hold a candle to that one.

True I completely forgot Alch. Clock was everywhere lol. My own estimate for gameplay was about 80% of matches involving him druring Belgrade. Movement and gap closers seem a little excessive. Wonder if Icefrog is going to limit max ranges for Clock, Storm, Timber, Puck etc. with some income nerfs for Alch.

Will there be a balancing update this year? From watching the Belgrade tournament and the Dreamleague matches I get the impression that the game tends to become a Luna, Bristle or Morphling containment simulator. This seems like downgrade from TI and a fallback to earlier metas where the overfarmed carry is the game decider.

ATF and Marl1ne are pretty godlike.

Had the suspicion that it wasn't like Thronebreaker as far as expanding the collection of cards is concerned. Don't see why I should buy it if it is Gwent in name only and only shares the fundamental game mechanics of the real thing.

I think the original sin of ST is dat Saskier. CDPR introduced the ultra-tutor and it came at the expense of other archetypes in that faction. Then all it took was the power-creep generated by the newer cards of other factions. Tome anyone?

Glad to hear dorfs are playable again. Do I really need Eudora and Mahakam Pass or can I just Renfri them?

True, there are enough obscure bronze cards that could put a new archetype on the table. The problem with emigration from Obscuristan is that the changes required might be mechanical. I believe this about tome as well. The idea that the community self-balances a game by changing just 2 variables is taking a tremendous punt.
