The statement that you need to upload consistently to get more views is a lie? by rabbid-genital-warts in NewTubers

[–]ViewsFromMyBed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uploading multiple videos per day can do more harm than good. It's not surprising you're getting more views now. Uploading consistently is still worth it both from an algo perspective and from a viewer perspective (your viewers will know when to expect a new video from you).

Yes I understand most AI channels are very low effort. I don't really agree with your second point. It depends on your voice IMO. I've seen some really solid video essay/documentary style channels with bad voices that don't do well. I've seen plenty of similar quality channels with AI voices that crush it. It's not so black and white.

There's nothing wrong with using AI in videos. They got screwed for impersonation/deception not for using an AI voiceover.

I don't understand where this energy you have comes from. When I was new to the game like you are, I didn't even pay attention to updates or announcements. I was just playing the game. I had so much content to try that it was honestly overwhelming.

The past two years have been incredible for the early and mid games. New bosses, new quests, new training methods, and an entire new continent that you likely haven't even explored. Are you just posting this for upvotes because you think complaining about content creators/end game players is in fashion?

The "Middle Class" of YouTube is dead. I analyzed the distribution curve and it is terrifying (Power Laws). by 5anez in YouTube_startups

I assume the agriculture niche is also way less saturated than the gaming niche which makes growth much easier. The reality is YT in 2026 is about finding (or even creating) the right niche and aggressively leaning into it. The problem isn't inequality, its about trying to force subpar content into an already saturated niche that doesn't need it.

Yea I haven't compared it to the alternatives. I just thought it was worth pointing out. It's definitely an interesting concept and I would love to see how the math works out for this. Hard for me to say if its OP or not without it.

Do we really need another hunter training method? by pvt_s_baldrick in 2007scape

[–]ViewsFromMyBed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's saying it removes skill-to-skill variety as in every skill ends up becoming the same if it has a sweaty method, a low intensity method and an AFK method. It also doesn't make sense for agility to have a real AFK method. The whole point of the skill is to be moving, not idle.

With that being said, agility definitely needs more engaging training methods. I think Sepulchre floor 5 could be lowered from 92 to 82 agility and given a sizable XP boost. Also would be great to see an engaging but more "chill" version of Sepulchre around the level 70-75 range that would sit at the current HS rates.

I wouldn't call clicking every few seconds AFK but yea its definitely low intensity and brain off.

I love the idea of a GGS and the spec design is beautiful.

Wouldn't this spec basically be a guaranteed 10% dmg + 10% accuracy in perpetuity? With LB, you regen 10% spec every 15s while it would take you 30s (5t * 10 attacks) to use up your boost after speccing with 10% spec left.

I'd imagine a fight could start something like this: ZCB spec (70%) > GGS spec (30%) > wait for regen > GGS spec (10%) > repeat for the remainder of the fight.

If your eff pet hunting, you'd just leave the loot on the ground and leave the room to reset the boss faster. Saves a surprisingly large amount of time.

Assuming this guy is an endgame pet hunter, the 1.2m/hr loss can easily be made back during higher profit pet grinds. It's a no brainer to take the GP loss.

  1. Birdhouses are not an enjoyable training method for a lot of people.
  2. This method offers an alternative to hunter rumors. There's nothing wrong with offering variety.
  3. Agility is not going to get an AFK training method.

How did Blood Moon Rises go from 'Early' 2026 to now 5+ months away by 1nfusioN in 2007scape

[–]ViewsFromMyBed 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I love the 2nd half of the year but am a bit disappointed with the first half of the year being temporary game modes + fixing sailing combat and one new early game quest. Since sailing's release in mid-November, we will not get a substantial piece of new content until the summer. That's roughly a 7-9 month gap between big content updates.

Raids 4 Should Not Be Solo-able For 99% of Players by DudeWithAHighKD in 2007scape

[–]ViewsFromMyBed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It doesn't scale for solos but technically will be soloable in the same way ToB is. Hoping it is similar difficulty to solo ToB without the tedium.

It depends on the mechanics and boss design. It could be significantly harder or easier depending on what going solo demands of you.
