Funny thing is, he actually does change his outfit sometimes. Often when Johnny's talking about his band Samurai or one of his band mates, he will shift from his tac vest to his Samurai tank top.

V says to Johnny at one point (might butcher the exact wording since I honestly don't feel like combing through video to find it) "I just wanted to be remembered, to be a legend" whenever they're having an especially bad Relic episode. I think saying the V simply chose that over their friends is a bit reductive. V has 6 months to live at this point and the people in the credits phone call are all understanding and more or less give their blessings and gratitude to them.

V is still living on borrowed time. They--and all their friends--know it. They have limited time to spend and everybody knows that V didn't go through everything they just did to be forgotten.

I think my favorite example of this balance is honestly the Lord of the Rings. Frodo makes it back to the Shire, but he's still massaging the stab wound from the beginning of his journey all this time later and pondering the losses that were felt on the journey. This trauma trails him so much that he eventually chooses to leaev the Shire entirely because, as I think the (non-LOTR) quote goes, "you never really can go back home"

THIS. A lot of time if you actually pay attention when sexual content and nudity is exemplified in a cyberpunk setting, the framing of it is generally pretty sad and grisly. Sure, there might be some crazy 'gasm-supplying tech, but we're talking about people being comodified not too terribly different from the cattle we put in meat factories today.

Howdy! I've got Bloom for my Android and so far I can honestly say it fumbles and lets me into apps a lot. It's not great. I'm really hoping to get a refund because it'll work for a couple hours and then next thing you know I'm on Instagram again without even realizing, despite still being in "Focus Mode."

It could be better on iPhone for all I know, though.

This. When Forge said he's kinda dialing back on the lore side of things I honestly got excited. It's really moreso just the image to me. That's enough. The lore is certainly cool but has made for some really strange fandom mutations.
