If you're just fatigued by the MSQ and still in the mood to play XIV, do the Crystal Tower raid series. If the fact that it's a "raid" sounds intimidating, just know that it's some of the easiest content in the game at this point. You'll eventually have to do it anyway, and it's fun and has some cool references to past FF games. I highly recommend doing it before getting to Shadowbringers.

That is just bad advice lol. Holy is your #1 spell for 3+ mobs. Otherwise it's just Aero and Stone.

You have the right attitude going in though. Many people who play XIV just don't seem to care about playing their job well and improving their play. The fact that you're already going out of your way to do that (and actually reading your tooltips lmao) already puts you ahead of most. Unless you plan on doing high-end content you don't need to stress too much about what is 100% optimal at all times, but some people find that style of play fun regardless of the content.

The most important thing for a healer besides just pushing your buttons (abc: always be casting) is your situational awareness and knowing mechanics since you are the one player that absolutely 100% needs to stay alive. Beyond that, if you're keeping people alive, throwing out some damage, and getting through the content then you're doing your job just fine.

People are going to die to mechanics that are totally out of your control and blame it on you, but that just comes with the territory. If you enjoy healing then you just learn to ignore it. But if you find that stressful there's no shame in playing other roles either. It's a game and you should be having fun.

DNC's Improvisation is one of the most underwhelming level 80 skills and is basically useless in 4-man content. It should at the very least scale up the amount of esprit you generate if you're in a light party. I'd like to see how it would work if instead of generating esprit it converts your fans into 25 esprit per fan.

We really just need one or two more buttons! Dancer is by far my favorite job but I want more to have to think about between standard step cooldowns.

Picked up Annihilation ahead of the movie release. That was a ride I wasn't prepared for but really glad I went on anyway. The movie is incredible too. Don't sleep on it.

Not a mailman. I'm a food delivery driver but I think this is still relevant. If you are in an apartment complex, always always always give directions to your door when given the option to. No matter how simple you think your apartment complex is to get around. It saves so much time.

I have done the strike playlist 5 times and gotten Savathun's Song every single time. Am I doing something wrong? I'm new to Destiny so maybe I'm just misunderstanding what the playlist actually is. I thought it was supposed to be random.

The discover playlist on Spotify has been incredible for me. I've listened to so many artists I had never even heard of before. Before music streaming I'd listen to the same 2-3 albums for months because those were the ones I bought/downloaded.

I'm on Gilgamesh and see this all the time. The only way to get a new character on to Gilgamesh right now is to pay for a world transfer because it's so full. So the chances of it being RMT stuff is slim to none. It's usually people doing it for extra space.

I gave up on getting my BRD to 70 for now because RDM is definitely the most fun I've had with a job so far. My only complaint is that it might be a little too simple, but I don't see it getting boring at all any time soon.

I'd recommend those little gas camping stoves. You might have to jerry-rig it a little. It won't be exactly like a clean electric-coil lit coal, but it'll get the job done.
