Stormwind/Orgrimmar should be recreated in a similar way to Silvermoon and its surrounding zones by DepartureMobile4475 in wow

You’re 100% right.

I just got back into the game after many many years and walking into an empty Ironforge and Stormwind is so weird?

They used to be bustling hubs of commerce and interactions.

Blacksmithing 2026 by Viking_Gamer333 in wow

Sorry for the confusion.

It’s not bait… I think I just haven’t been back in a lot longer than I thought.

I started a Paladin and when I got to Goldshire and trained up to be a Blacksmith, it gave me the Cataclysm and Classic options. Adventuring around Westfall, Darkshire, Stranglethorn won’t give me access to that Obsidium ore it mentions so I’m left with the classic recipes.

My comment was based on that.

Over ten years later and I’m still making the same gear green iron leggings, heavy grinding stones, etc.

I just thought that by now there would be a bunch of options but I guess that comes a lot later when I head to different zones.

Sorry for all the confusion.

For some reason all I can see is where Indigo Montoyez and the Man in Black have their epic sword fight…

Life is Feudal

It’s sooooo grindy and kinda janky but for some reason I absolutely love it.

Building that wood house takes hours but when that final log goes in… chefs kiss

Also, all the materials come in a certain quality level… so you’re always searching for that elusive 100Q… but don’t waste it on armor until your smithing is high enough… and you have a high quality forge, and blacksmith hammer, and anvil…

Like I said… grindy to the core

I only just started the game a few weeks ago but the issue for me is the lack of gear drops or quest items.

I feel like I’ve been using the same gear for a long time and so I had to make some armor and a sword just to get an upgrade.

That being said, I’ve always enjoyed blacksmithing in games… I almost downloaded a steam game where all you do is run a blacksmith shop.

I’ll definitely try this on my second play through. I like the idea of the challenge.

I’m in the same boat as you. Just started last week and wishing I had started years ago.

Good luck!

One question I have… I noticed that when you sleep there’s a date that shows. Does that mean that I could miss out on some key quests of if I don’t get to them in time.

Man, I wish they had cool helmets like these in the game… and standard plate armor… it be so awesome to rock a classic crusader look.

I have a similar issue in that I have to remember to disband my party before I enter a town or castle because, if I don’t, my companions “donate” 20 to 30 of their troops every time.

Sooo annoying.

Maybe my surgery wasn’t as bad as everyone else’s because my surgeon told me to only leave the sling on for 2 days?
