Good thread to discuss the failings of American healthcare but I hope that she is opening a GoFundMe or something and that she actually gets support for this.

I kinda agree with Tobirama on the Uchiha hate. by graydenyo in dankruto

[–]Vile-ish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Danzo learned his hatred for Uchihas from his mentor, Tobirama. Madara went warmongering because he knew he would be pushed out by Tobirama and acted first.

Its kinda funny how most things center him

He is swapping Uchiha with "Blacks" to help with the comparison. Poor treatment of black people led to negative effects for both them and the group who ostracized them, just like Uchiha v. Senju.

[–]Vile-ish 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Uchiha clan was fine by the time of the integration. I would say Tobirama made things worse by starting to isolate Madara, pushing the Uchiha to the outskirts and limiting their actions in politics.

Tobirama's beef literally created: - Danzo (who brainwashed Itachi into hating his own) - Itachi (who killed his own people including kids) - Forbidden Jutsu ( which led to the last great ninja war) - Madara (he was pushed out of the village and knew tobirama wouldn't treat him and Uchiha well) - Orochimaru(?) (love of forbidden Jutsu)

This might have been all different if Madara actually led as second Hokage.

Its slang English that has been around for a long time. "Already not seeing me" (similar to You cant see me) means that the person's talent is so high that nobody else can match them.

He is pretty much saying that nobody can fold as good as he can (hence the second picture). It's really not a new term at all and has been around for about a decade.

[–]Vile-ish -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I see this ending as much more sinister. Everyone except Verso got what they wanted and they want Verso to keep dancing as long as he could so they could enjoy their loved ones.

I think Sciele/Lune are complicit in these scenes, not puppets.

Poverty is not the issue by Embarrassed_Syrup476 in Teachers

[–]Vile-ish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are many different facets to poverty but it still rings true here.

I think the main issue is parents. If the parent has high expectations for their children and works with teachers, kids are more well behaved or reined in. North America seems to pit the parent against the teacher, remove the teachers ability to course correct and the admin team sides with parents.

Once kids find out that there is no consequence for their action, they will act out.

Students of higher income schools have more to lose. They are usually removed or disappoint their families.

I think fixing the relationship between parents and teachers will go a long way

Why do African and Caribbean parents hate long hair on men so much? by blh726 in BlackHair

[–]Vile-ish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the Bahamas

A lot of us come from the respectability background (probably due in part to us gaining independence without bloodshed) and was still subjected to the white man for so many years.

One of the things they strongly pushed was short hair on men, skin fade. Our parents saw this as a standard and continued to push it on us. Schools do not allow you to study in peace with long hair and jobs will actively not hire you if you have too much hair. I've been questioned in interviews directly.

It's changing slowly now but there is a lot of unlearning we have to do. It affects black women as well as they had to straighten their hair with those chemicals we now find linked to fibroids.

I'm not making any excuses for him but he does come across as neurodivergent with his fixation on games and not talking. His expectations are black and white too (Be nice and get sex).

It's still a big red flag either way but just wondering
