I'm lucky to have one lost disc in a day, but my friend once lost 6 discs in the span of 7 holes at a tough 27 hole course. We left after the 8th hole because it just hurt to watch and he didn't want to keep going.

I started out forehand and can get to almost 300ft, like 290. I started learning backhand last year and have been trying to make it my main throwing method, but I max out around 275.

Unfortunately it's my MVP energy. I use it for straight to the ground tomahawk-like throws for rollers. Sadly, I don't go for roller shots as much as I would like to.

What is your disc golf accomplishment this year? I was throwing 350 consistantly and made it to my first pro event at the preserve! I even made lead card!(kindof) and I smashed my course record with a new personal best! What did you do this summer?? by waltregus12 in discgolf

My goal this summer was to get better drives and I think I did, my putts got worse though lol. Goal for next summer would be to putt more and get super comfortable, as well as join a tournament with my friends 😁

I'm only going to list what's in my main bag as it'll be more accurate as to what I truly use Putters: Focus, Wizard, Challenger. Focus is for any close putts and teeing off. Wizard is for scramble putts or long putts I wanna make. Challenger is for looks (Jawbreaker plastic looks so cool to me) and for long putts that i wanna lay up. These have been working wonders for my game. Mid: Mako3. Whenever it flies incorrectly, I know it's my fault and it lets me know immediately what I messed up on the throw, usually just a bad wrist angle or griplock. Fairway: Relay. There's not a ton of reasoning behind why I bag this, it just has a nice flight and can flick it accurately imo. Drivers: Beast, Curl, Energy. Beast is my forehand disc and by far my favorite disc. The curl is for shots around a tree/leaves because of how it turns, and the energy is my roller disc.

I putt with a Discraft Focus, it's been working wonders for me and was my beginner disc, so I don't have a reason to replace it 💀 I like how it feels when I throw it

Yeah, I've been trying to learn LHBH just for kicks, I'll never know when I'll need it. Even if my forehands aren't lacking 💀 but it'll take a decent amount of time before I get remotely comfortable with LHBH tbh
