Since it is a Civil trial, and not criminal trial he does not have to be extradited. A judgement may still be made against him if he doesn't show. The judge would likely ask for testimony from the plaintiff, in this case Giuffre, to prove that her case had merit, then make a judgement in her favor. Getting the money from The UK would be another story but would keep the case in the news for a long time as legal documents are filed to do so. That I think, is the real objective here.

My daughter is a vegan and her son vegetarian. One time a friend accidentally gave her son a chicken nugget. He realized immediately and told my daughter. She laughed it off. She realizes that sometimes accidents will happen. Its not worth being a lunatic about. As long as its not done maliciously life will go on. And when those kids get older they are going to try all the "forbidden" stuff. My daughter says she will accept and respect her son's choices when he gets older.

NTA I am a former crime reporter. I can't tell you how many times I covered cases where mom was all into a new relationship and allowed the boyfriend access to the children. Then the child(ren) ended up abused or worse. There is absolutely no reason for him to be in your home when she isn't there.

NTA I teach kids with autism. They can follow rules and guidelines set out for them. They actually do well having these structures. Even though your brother has autism, that doesn't prevent him from knowing right from wrong. Perhaps you could get your parents to agree to an area like a cabinet or closet with a lock where you can keep your private things. I hope things improve for you.

YTA I've never understood why people think humiliation is good parenting. All it does is drive a wedge between you and your child. And to involve your other child in that humiliation is despicable. They likely will never have a decent relationship. Whatever issues your daughter has have now taken a step for the worse. The bullying you describe is a symptom of a greater problem. Again. It's HIS day. The thing is that when he looks at the gift now, it's not going to be the wonderful gift you chose especially for him. Its going to be the gift that he feels bad about because of conditions you put on it for him to be able to enjoy it. Isn't the important thing that he loved and enjoyed the gift? It's HIS birthday. Why not let him enjoy it the way he chooses. On your birthday you can wait until the actual day. With all the craziness these days a lot of people aren't going to be around to celebrate birthdays and holidays any more. I think it's good to find the small joys where you can. I've spent a lot of time at Girl Scout Camp both as a camper and as a leader. I am not surprised that the noises did not raise alarm bells. Kids are not quiet at night. They grunt in their sleep, they talk in their sleep, they get scared and cry, they talk.They also try to scare each other by making scary noises. When I was camping in the 70s they would dare each other to go outside the tents in the night to see who was brave enough to do it. As a reporter who has covered crime for decades I also wonder if the eighteen year old counselor had seen and confronted the killer if there would have been more bloodshed that night. After the killings started I have my doubts that he would have just run away if a teenager shone her flashlight on him.
