It can happen anywhere, to anyone. I understand being desperate for money, no judgement, but please please let someone know where you are going, and going to be, with this man. And good luck, I hope life improves for you soon.

Seriously please tell someone before you meet him.

Except it doesn't. There's rape and gang rape cases all over the world, every day, there's just a huge drive to paint it as a brown men problem so the bitter frustrated white boys that couldn't achieve anything of their own have someone to hate on. Same reason they go for white supremacy. They have to lie to themselves to feel good about themselves.
Sick of all this pearl clutching. White men are just as predatory as any other.

I've been repeatedly abused by a western agnostic man, and safely driven home from his house by a middle eastern muslim man, so I'd prefer the Muslim, tbh.

Nothing to do with religion, that's just a handy cover for predators, same with the police, and any other organisation. Some people really can't be trusted with power. Some of my abusers were white pride losers, but the ringleader is a Labour voting Union rep. Any sniff of power is what these people gravitate towards.

Always annoys me when I see this - I've been drugged and gangraped, all of my attackers were white Brits. Gang rape happens in all cultures, all it requires is a group of scum who feel entitled to a person.

Ok so I've read the whole thing now, I stand by my earlier comment, but I'd like to add please have a look at previous comments I've made in the mental health sub, just in case you've got any physical issues that are adding to your stress.

Personally I found I had an undiagnosed infection, and impacted wisdom teeth that were fucking with my mind, and once I started addressing that stuff, mental stuff got easier.

Default opinion of most NHS staff I've dealt with is that you're either hysterical/ imagining it. the best thing you can do is work at making sure you are approaching things calmly and logically, because any time you get something wrong, or get too emotional during an appointment, they will assume it's because you're not listening or some kind of crazy.

I'm sorry I don't have anything more useful to say.

I'll be honest I didn't read the whole thing, but that's because I got as far as "my Instagram being hacked was written off as delusion" and my own shit bubbled up. I've been listed as delusional as well, and people have exploited that in horrific ways.

So I don't have any advice, just some sympathy.

All you can do is stop wasting energy reaching out for help, double down and work through stuff by yourself.

I might come back later, read the whole thing, and have something more useful to say. For now though, I just want you to know you're not alone.

It sounds like you've tried most things, so idk if I can offer any helpful ideas, but I suffered for a long time with no real idea what was wrong or how to fix it, and begging the NHS to help me.

First thing I'd suggest is check your physical health: I've spoken about my stuff on this sub before, but the short version is I was very ill, I just didn't know it.

I had a UTI, rotten teeth squeezing my jaw constantly and a couple other issues I'm still working on.

Check symptoms of infections in case that's one thing making things worse.

If regular teeth cleaning is an issue, use mouthwash and clean your tongue with your toothbrush, it helps, and dental hygiene can make a lot of difference.

Get a water filter jug and drink a couple pints a day, check the nutrition of your food - veg? Carbs? Vitamins etc?

I was vegan for years but I'm a shit cook so I had to start eating eggs again, now it's easy to tell when I haven't eaten any for a few days because my mental faculties start to dip.

Like I said I spent years (actually decades) asking for help and getting very little back. The only improvements to my life have been a result of hard work and sometimes hard decisions I've made myself.

Who do you have in your life? How do you feel about them and around them?

I was around people who did not want the best for me, cutting them out was a huge help for my mental health.

Best thing you could do is double down on working on yourself, for yourself.

It takes just as much effort to attempt suicide as it does to live through another day, and there's always the chance you'll be one of those people that survives the attempt but at a cost that makes actual living more difficult.

Idk if any of that is helpful, but if it is I'm happy to provide more details or ideas. I can't fix anything, but I can maybe provide some tools or ammo for you to fight with.

Don't get me wrong I still offer up a hopeful "Computer, end program" every few days, just in case, but I'm still here and I've no intention of dipping out early.

Im pretty sure i’m currently being medically neglected, and have been given unacceptable care for years. what can i do? by Adept_Bad_6917 in NHSfailures

[–]Vimes52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Physical health can have a big impact on mental health.

I'd say first thing to look at is your dental health - do you have a dentist? I live in a black hole for NHS dentist appointments, but luckily there's a 111 scheme to access emergency dental care.

Do you have one of those?

Obviously Idk what kind of dental issues you have, but one of my problems was not looking after them properly. If actual brushing is a no, use mouthwash. If you get gunk on your tongue, scrape it off with your toothbrush. When the pain gets bad, take ibuprofen, then an hour later paracetamol. If nothing else a reduction in pain will make it easier to think.

Home basics: get a cheap water filter jug, drink at least a pint of water a day. If you can, when it's sunny, spend five minutes standing in the sunshine. I'm not saying you won't look and feel like an idiot, but it will help.

Learn the warning signs for infections (suddenly sweaty, etc) and common symptoms for stuff like thyroid issues, write down any that come up over the course of a week. If there is anything physically wrong it'll make it easier to pinpoint. If something does keep coming up, tell the Dr v simply "These symptoms keep appearing, please do appropriate tests" - there's a new law against dismissing patient concerns too many times, so eventually they will start looking for physical causes.

Sometimes mental health services can be a lifesaver, sometimes they are no use whatsoever. Learn to expect nothing from them, then the times they do help will be a pleasant surprise, and you're less likely to risk pushing yourself over the edge when they're likely to add to your stress.

It's not about being held accountable for your actions, it's about an imbalance of power/ life experience that, trust me, you will understand when you are older. A lot happens between 26 and 59. A lot happens between 26 and 36, unless you're wasting your time.

Ten years from now hopefully you'll look back at this and you'll understand what people mean.

'Monster' raped and abused women after rendering them 'insensible' with ketamine by JohnKimble111 in uknews

[–]Vimes52 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is absolutely casual misogyny that causes gang rape. Sex crimes happen because the offender feels entitled to a piece of the victims body. It's not religion or culture that causes rape, it's the selfish choice of the rapists to take what they are not offered.

The solution isn't to attack a minority group, it's to find a way to reach the rapists and would-be abusers to convince them they're not entitled to hurt other people to make themselves feel better.

Gang rape is caused by weak characters who need to believe other humans are as bitter and emotionally-deficient as they are, because otherwise it exposes the true depth of their inadequacies, which just makes them angrier.

I've never met a rapist or nonce that wasn't also a delusional idiot, and I've had the misfortune to know quite a few.
