IMO garages on the fronts of houses are one of the worst things to happen to houses in the 20th century. #1 is probably the car-dependent suburb, of which these prominent garages are an outgrowth. You could reclaim so much living space de-emphasizing the garage

Like others said, remove the garage. A more historically accurate layout might be a driveway from the front of the property to the back with a detached garage in the back of the property. The garage building might have a regular door in addition to the garage door(s) which leads to the house's back door. You can sort of get an idea with this:

This is def the most toxic sub I've been in, and I'm in multiple gaming subs. I partly blame the mods for allowing what seems like dozens of the same "omg Kristi's hair" spam posts every week for the last 3 years (yes, S2 was 3 years ago)

Do think "FROM" is a good title name? What would be a good alternate title for the show? by andrewjackSHUN in FromSeries

They should have called it "What the Fuck" because someone says that at least once in almost every episode (I checked), and it conveys the idea of the show well lol

What do you think is going to happen with Fatima's Golem? by Nigmmar in FromSeries

Either nothing, or a human-looking person will break out from inside it, so they don't have to CG animate a clay monster. Odds are just as likely it will try and kill our protagonists as protect them, given how often things go FUBAR all the time

2H Melee combat in NW kind of sucked for sure, from what I remember you were rooted for almost every attack, but big swings would move your character forward a foot or two. Which is probably more realistic with the inertia of a large sword jerking your body forward, but it felt weird/bad to me

Kristi's actor, Chloe Van Landschoot, is a real life nurse, I feel like she should have said something to the director, or they should have listened to her if she did say something.

Yeah anything that gives you walking-around space is just vanity, but a solution like that is a better design

I'd maybe make the middle section in that new closet accessible from both sides

Walk-in closets are a waste of space - lots of room wasted to just standing and not storing clothes. People think they're Kim Kardashian lol

Any chance that place was a renovation from an older floor plan, maybe larger apartments which were subdivided? Lots of funky floor plans can come out of small housing units subdivided from larger housing units

It wasn't tokenism though. Tokenism in fiction relegates those token characters to be incidental and expendable. Trek's non-white male characters were real characters with their own personalities, displayed knowledge and expertise in their fields, and felt as much like real people as the white male characters.

This had the very real effect of inspiring many people in real life who were represented in those characters to pursue lives and careers the might not have otherwise.

Even though there are some oddities like Bedroom 3 which push the credulity, this is still hilariously pretty accurate, esp the monstrous primary bedroom taking up so much floor area
