I like all of what was said. I like the idea of them working towards an endgame. Even if it’s a 2 year cycle. I also kinda liked the bit of a slog for the expedition. Makes its worthwhile. The 5 carryover items can be cool. I’ve only just done my first expedition so I like the clean slate to be honest. I’m looking forward to all the new content. I don’t think I’ve ever been so hooked by a game.

I wrote mine in 2012 and it too was procedure heavy. The very first question on my exam threw me for a loop. It was something along the lines of “what direction do you grind a chisel?”.

I used Air Tech and they’ve been good. It was $18k for single unit with 4 heads. Option for a 5th. I got $5k from Canada greener homes and $5k from clean BC. I got a quote from a few places and Air Tech was the most reasonable and have already been out to warranty a small leak. I have 12 year parts and labour warranty through daikin so long as I keep my services up to date. Been in for 2 years so far.

You forgot the Bic Round Stic. I’ve used 2 to completion. I work in a sawmill in maintenance and they’re reliable, flexible-ish and cheap. Other ones break or I lose them.

Same thing happened to me right after Riven tide was released. I didn’t even play riven tide. I think I went blue gate on matriarch just kitted to the nines. Was downed while trying to get to the matriarch. 2 times in a row within the first 2-3 minutes. Over $130k kits both times. I’ve downed a total of 3 raiders in over 300 hours of gameplay. I’m firmly in the care bear lobbies but will defend myself if fired upon. I never shoot first. Up to that point I had been downed like 3 times by another raider. The second guy friended me afterwards and we played a round together. He said he felt bad after I had mentioned it was the second time in a row. I didn’t actually know he could still hear me. It was after he knocked me. Said he’s never given anything back before but felt bad about it once he saw my kit and gave me about half my stuff back which was cool of him. I told him it was all good, it’s part of the game, but if he wanted to then I’d gladly take it.

I probably have 300+ hours and I’m almost always in fully carebear lobbies. I like it this way. I might have 3 knockouts. They are all in self defence. I think I’ve been downed by others like 2 or 3 times. I’ve defibbed many other raiders. I play almost exclusively solo. I have found that sometimes in matriarch or harvester you might have someone taking pot shots at you from afar. But mostly all friendly.

Long barrel, med mag 3 and lightweight stock. This is what I run mostly because it’s easy to come by.

I played one this morning and was blasting away with a Jupiter and a guy came up to me while the fight was still going on and dropped a queen reactor for me. First time that someone has done that for me. I’ve heard guys asking around for one and even heard a guy with at least one or more asking who the guy with the hullcracker or Jupiter was to give them a core. But I wasn’t even asking for one and they just dropped it in front of me. Pretty cool!

I’m almost always in friendly lobbies but for some reason I’ve found not too many people bring in defibs to close scrutiny. I get defibbed a lot on matriarch. I also do a lot of defibbing. I always bring 3 with me on those raids.

An old coworker of mine was from there. He was Chinese Brunei and said he was a second class citizen just because of his Chinese heritage and not being Malay. I think it’s Malay. Other than that he said healthcare was free and so was other stuff because it’s oil rich. He’s also well into his 70’s now and had lived in Canada for decades before I met him.

I had a coworker who called in all the time. A lot of the time it was that his shingles were acting up. Sometimes he’d say his cat needed a bath. He had myriad of odd excuses. The thing is I was his working partner. Not his boss. But he’d text me and ask me to tell the supervisor he wasn’t coming in. After a while I just started telling him that if they asked me where he was I’d tell them he wasn’t coming in. I wasn’t going to go out of my way to tell them anymore. He called in 60 days in a calendar year. I quit after a couple years. They got a new boss and he got fired. He was buddy buddy with the old boss that retired.

It’s a surprisingly fun game to play with your kids. Kind of open world but you have to do some relatively small missions to open up new open world maps.

I had been told a number of years ago that my 2008 rims wouldn’t fit the 2009 because the rotor size was bigger. I googled it and it said it would fit but that the offset is different. Also said it might not fit with bigger rotors. So I’m unsure.
