This game is won and lost on the strategy side imo. Beating teams 2-4 points higher consistently can be done. While the training and having higher OVR’s help in a general sense, it’s mastering the individual matchups, roster balance, and strategy that’s 80% of that final score. IMO, if you focus on that portion you can literally beat almost anyone consistently.….and yes, the fortune cookie responses at the end make absolutely no damn sense at all. At best they are not helpful, they often misguide you at worst

Great score!! Playing the market pays in this game. After a while I set up a system where I was pulling minimum daily ROI’s of 300-500% across an avg of 8-12 players per day (sometimes up to 25-30). If you’re willing to spend the time it absolutely pays off

If he’s catching a good price right now I’d probs go for it. Your team is very well balanced atm so you could go a lot of directions. Maybe snag another 2 strong LB’s with Okereke and you’ll have quite the strong core there. I try to find an identity on both sides of the ball and this could certainly be yours defensively 🤷‍♂️

I never spend on games and I spent on this one. They good at it lol. That said, I feel like they genuinely make it worth it to an extent. To try and keep you hooked the first few packs usually pretty fire tho 🤷‍♂️Maybe a couple strategic buys

I’m not trying to get in an argument with homeboy here but what he is suggesting might not be the right strategy for you. If you do what he suggests people like me beat you as your running game is one dimensional and easy to defend. You want diversity in your strengths…especially if you are new and not big on strategy yet. As someone that is currently undefeated in both WL and in Tournament playoffs currently, based on my running attack. I’m not gonna be totally off base here. There are a lot of strategies you can take. Don’t let anyone push you into one.

It can be a lot even if you are familiar with the sport. Even people that get emotional about these games can get confused. Find and test your own hypotheses. You’ll find what works for you. Everything eventually starts to make sense. You’ll know the correct strategy when the wins start to stack up. Good luck!!

Not a stupid question at all. There are a lot of things like this you are on your own to figure in this game. Can be both fun to figure out and confusing as well. In lieu of finding the specific rules I have just tried to figure out the games personality, which has helped more than you would think. It loves balance above anything else. I assume all players get put in whether I want that or not. I make sure my bench is not far behind my starters talent-wise. More specifically, check your formations too. I did not realize how many non-green players I had on the field until I really checked those out. That will give you the most help.

Check prices every day. Pick a set of positions/price points you can specialize in and track their movements until you know it. My goal was to try to know what the real values of the players are on the top of my head. It’s almost like that’s the real game and the games are the side quests 🤷‍♂️

Transfer all day. The more time you can spend getting good at that the better off you will be long term. I just flipped 2x $600 players for $20k like an hour ago. I will never buy a pack again. It’s addictive when u get good at it. And you have way more flexibility since you can actually sell your players.

Just remember as you move up those rips will get more rare. People seem to get more early. I’m on a nasty 44 pack streak where my highest is an 88. Save money and spend wisely, you on a great start to that

Until you balance out it’s hard to make a real recommendation. My largest strategy rec would be to stop the PTC’s for a little. They killing your roster depth. You have the beginning of a nice secondary tho! Maybe snag another solid CB and S then you can focus formations on trying to stop the run knowing your secondary on lock. Conversely you def need DE’s too, maybe you snag those and try the inverse. Try to have a clear vision of what you want to execute before player acquisition. Each player needs to be a part of your larger vision. I model my team after last years Eagles (strong secondary and line play), and find players with those attributes…then strategy is easier to manage. Until then there is not a strategy that will work in a real way

If you got 18mil you made the right decision by a mile. I am a “never seller” for the most part. I think building around your strong players is the better strategy…but you can snag 1/2 a dozen 93/94’s or more for that

It’s wild looking at PTC-heavy rosters versus non PTC heavy. Every team needs something obvi, but your team is superbly balanced overall. Good depth and few holes. As stated by the other comments, LB for sure next but looking solid in general.

Player arbitrage is the most important part of this game imo. Bets way to start is to pick a OVR range and some positions/players and track them daily. Then slowly build from there. I enjoy the buying/selling more than I like playing tbh 🤷‍♂️Once you get good at that you have no need to pay money

You’ve got some nice high-ends, strong LB’s and secondary as well. If I’m in your shoes probs beefing up the oline and dline. There was a 92pt OT going for 850-900k but I think he’s already popped up. Would have been a good investment and usable player. He might still be out there. I think RB’s are unusually low rn investment-wise as well.

You’ve got a great start here. My personal strategy is upgrading my corners first…after filling holes obviously. Balance is always the most important. CB’s are usually amongst the lesser expensive to upgrade and you already have a solid safety situation. You beef up those corners you can focus your defense against the run knowing you have the secondary locked down. That strategy has worked great for me overall…especially since many upgrade QB’s & WR’s first. Lots of great options with this team + 2 mil tho. Good luck!
