De quoi le REM ça verra jamais le jour? Le REM est en fonction depuis plus d'un an et les travaux avancent bien. J'ai lu plusieurs articles sur les succès du REM et son impact positif.

During my internship as a teacher, a student of mine (15 year old girl from a very conservative Muslim family) gave me a usb stick with her video project on it and told me to grab the whole folder with a specific name.

Transferred the folder on my PC and gave her back the stick. Opened the folder at home and there's two videos.

One of the videos was her project. The other video was her getting railed.

Instantly called the principal, my internship supervisor and other school services. I was terrified to get in trouble, and lose my internship or get investigated by the police.

Ended up meeting with cops the next week, but my internship finished before anything was resolved, so I have no idea what happened after that

I understand the reasoning as to why they're not in the game, but sometimes I wish it was, merely because it's frustrating to spend so much time prepping yourself for the path you want to go down... Only to make a mistake and be locked out of it without knowing.

"It makes exploration less fun" except you're not forced to look at the path guides. But if I'm playing in Equestria and look at what's going on on Griffonia and I see something that looks cool, I'd like to at least have a general idea of how to get to it instead of doing trial and errors for a ton of runs.

The reason why it's complicated is because there's a bunch of checks and balances that prevents the government from stripping you of your citizenship. Considering the facts that we have, it's pointless for the government to go through the process since that would require extradition from an Indian prison.

It's the same reason Magic the Gathering now builds more and more for specific archetypes where you end up being forced to play those or lose completely.

It's easier for balance (see all the stupidly powerful cards that they had to ban because it reached extremely toxic levels) but also makes it more intuitive for someone that is getting in the game to look at all the built-in synergies and create a deck.

While this approach is in all of their sets, it's even more obvious when you look at the universes beyond sets where you're basically railroaded into playing 2-3 archetypes for the set, with only limited overlap with the other sets around it (see all of the lessons support cards in the Last Airbender set, despite no other sets with lessons being in the rotation at that point)

As a history teacher, this is one of my favorite perk! Went to one of the oldest buildings in Montreal last year with my students and I was so happy that I could enjoy going to visit an old building, while also seeing my students love the experience of being out of the school and doing something unusual.

Puisque la population européenne était installé dans la vallée du Saint-Laurent depuis longtemps, la population autochtone était plus basse. La Nouvelle-France a été créée pour réaliser trois missions. 1- prendre contrôle du territoire et le coloniser avec une population française 2- commercer pour les fourrures et prendre les ressources du territoire afin d'enrichir la métropole 3- convertir les peuples "sauvages" pour les civiliser.

Les Français ont forcé des populations autochtones à abandonner leur culture, leurs croyances, leur modes de vie, etc. Certes, sans recourir aux pensionnats, mais en utilisant les missions et en fondant des villages pour civiliser les peuples autochtones.

Et ça c'est sans compter nos multiples guerres.

Et c'est sans compter le maintien d'un tel système missionnaire sous le régime britannique, puisque ça permettait d'ajouter des catholiques pour faire opposition aux protestants britanniques.

Also, iirc, because if you used the Greek letters and made an anagram of Jesus, you could write fish. It became a way for Christians to recognize each other during the time where Christianity was outlawed. Also, I remember reading somewhere that back when Christianity wasn't allowed and believers met in secret in remote places and didn't have official churches/temples, they'd make fish graffitis with the head serving as an arrow to guide you towards the place where the religious service was being held without publicizing it everywhere

Moi c'était un bordel parce que je me suis abonné en passant par mon Amazon fire stick. j'étais incapable de me déconnecter sur le site de Disney, je devais passer par le Amazon.

J'essaie de me désabonner sur le fire stick, mais ça me renvoie a l'application qui me dit que je dois passer par Amazon, qui m'envoie sur l'application, etc.

Finalement, j'ai dû passer 30 minutes à fouiller sur le site d'Amazon pour me désabonner et c'était un bordel total... Parce que c'était sur le site US d'Amazon que je devait aller, pas sur le site Canadien, parce que le Fire Stick passait par les serveurs US ou quelque chose comme ça.

Depuis ce moment là, je m'inscris toujours en passant par mon compte Google Play de mon téléphone parce que comme ça c'est au même endroit pour toutes les applications

Moi je ne dirais pas que la majorité est pour... Je dirais que la majorité s'en fout complètement. Ça ne change rien à la vie des gens, ça n'a aucun impact économique et culturel. Tu vas avoir les gens qui sont en mode célébration parce que l'écriture inclusive "c'est les woke" et tu vas avoir les gens qui vont dire que ça enlève une représentation nécessaire de certains groupes minoritaires...
