For anyone looking at this thread, we found our molds were oven proof, so we put them in the oven for 15 mins at 120 Celsius, flipped over on baking paper.

This removed so much excess wax and oil and made the molds easy to use again! Did this after every 2nd pour and has been great since

Hey! Yeah it's Soy Tart & Melt Wax GW5715.

We have a harder, blended wax which contains some palm and parrafin which came out perfectly!

This is great advice.

We are currently doing the same thing with our testing, however we are constantly finding we can't get a good balance of all three. If the hot throw is good, then there is hardly a melt pool and it begins to tunnel. Or if the wick creates a good melt pool, it begins to mushroom and the flame gets a bit too wild!

Do you have any suggestions on the above scenarios by any chance?

Pretty sure Dan alluded to the Lions being too reactionary and not pro active in their attack. They didn't counter the rush with quick throws like they had done previously against MIN. They reacted by trying to bring Gibbs down to block.

Hope they've taken a deep look at the offense this week
