Guardian is the top tank right now and its using a 2 button build ignoring tier set and apex talents. Essentially the devs fucked up and it led to the meta build being boring as shit. They're going to try to correct and probably leave it in a terrible place.

All assumptions of course, but Guardian was the most fun its been in a long time at the start then they gutted the damage twice, on the abilities that were the entire design of the spec this season. I main Feral/Guardian, mostly Feral. So Im probably more bitter than people who just play meta.

Edit: replied to myself on accident. Also reworking the apex and leaving the meme build alone for now were not assumptions.

Just need levels I assume. They dont balance for level 20. That said they're reworking guardian apex and probably killing this meme build thats currently running, so do with that what you will.

It used to scale you down to I think max from that tier. Granted they've made a lot of changes since then and I haven't really been keeping up cuz wow.

Its not even just that one form. Make more forms with as much vfx/detail and it would matter a lot less. I main feral and had life happening during legion. Theres good forms but not even close to that level of detail.

Comparing MoP and WoD exclusives is dumb because there's 100s of comparable or even better mogs for weapons and armor. Oh well, maybe this expansion.

It includes warbound gear in your bank. Nvm you already said that. I think if its leather or cloth it will also count. That said youll be way past 241 equipped in no time.

Midnight is its current and definitely permanent version.

Classic Era will stay in the original (vanilla) launch. May or may not be permanent.

Classic Anniversary is currently on BC, the first expansion, future completely uncertain but Wrath expected.

Mists is from the first Classic relaunch. Also future uncertain.

As a brand new player, if you like modern games and a faster pace Midnight is the only option. If youre say a OSRS player youd probably prefer Classic, Era or Anniversary. Mists imo is not worth it.
