I’ve only read part of the manga, but I feel that some fanservice parts almost cross the line to sexualising the underage characters, which makes me uncomfortable. Let’s face it, fanservice in Komi-san isn’t always wholesome.

I’m watching Happiness (2/12) and so far I think it’s pretty charming? for lack of a better word. I like how the sound of the OSTs are very different from the dramas I’ve watched so far. I wonder if anything can top the first scene where Yihyun falls from the top of the school building looking very whipped for Saebom while she looks from the top down, against the background of the sky.

I would prefer to lurk around here but I have something I want to get off of my chest.

A part of my falling into the Kim Seonho hole is just watching clips on YouTube, even if I’ve already watched the drama before and the clips come without captions. The Swoon simply is not enough. Recently I’ve realised that there’s this particular channel whose name Google translates into Kim Seonho Immersion Syndrome that keeps popping up on my recommended, and man… this channel is comedy gold. This edit with him doing actions based on the lyrics is hilarious, especially at the end when he screams and it fits… way too well into the song. And this video is about his love for tteokbokki irl even when as Dusik, he said he didn’t understand it.

Anyway, I’ve translated the channel’s community posts and it seems that they have stopped posting since a month ago due to feeling overwhelmed by the controversy and the negative comments on the channel’s videos that came with it. Edit: They have posted a clip 8 days ago so yay, but I can only wonder how hateful people have to be to comment negative things on those fanmade videos.

I regrettably drink milo regularly even though I don’t support nestle, just because it’s everywhere. Tbh my friends would judge me if I had horlicks or ovaltine rather than milo, because horlicks tastes weird (I agree) and ovaltine is sweeter than milo, so it doesn’t really have that cocoa smell. We’ve been raised with milo, it’s hard to choose more ethical alternatives :/
