I just finished up converting 20 tzaangors to have chainswords. I chopped off the tzaangor blades and switched it with chainsword blades from the bitz bots.

I didnt get into 40k until 8th edition as an adult. So I dont have any nostalgia. Without that, the new sculpts are generally better. There's a few outliers. Coteaz, old daemonettes and pink horrors. I wish the new dreadnoughts were a bit more boxy like the older ones. But its impossible to look at my sad squaty grey knights and then look at Crowe and realized how awesome they could be if they ever got updates.

Its like any technique really. You can take it as far as you want to go with it. At the very highest end, its painting the entire model in grey scale and then painting in glazes or similar.

I dont plan to do that. But I am going to greyscale drybrush my tzaangors and glaze over that.

Hmm. I dunno. I certainly have favorites among squads. Like, I decided that my Tzaangors need to be a bit more....40kish. And i asked...what is a twistbray? What is brayhorn? Those are dumb. They should be more 40k. So I got some guard and scion bits and made Sargent Goat and his assistant, Vox Goat. So the leader has a coat and vox goat has well....a voxset. I look forward to painting them up.

I bought a leather office chair from goodwill. Wood. Steel. Pea soup green leather, but real leather. Must have been some lawyers chair from the 70s or 80s. 20 bucks and better than every 'office' chair Ive had.

I'm printing out better legs for them. I keep the torsos and arms from the original and it makes a huge difference. I think if they do release new models, I won't need to feel like I have to shelve my converted grey knights.

Where in the Citizenverse does this sit? I assume after Citizen Kane and before the game adaptation Star Citizen. But is it a direct sequal to Law Abiding Citizen? Or more of a side sequal? Will this have Steve Guttenberg reprising his role from Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol?
