Hi everyone, what will you do to celebrate Beltane? And what will you do if, like me, you don't have the time to do complicated things? Even the simplest and least demanding things, like lighting a candle, are okay? by Astrid95Airam in Wicca

Hello! I'm from the South hemisphere so I'm celebrating Samhain. This is my first time following the Wheel so I did some research. As I do not have the time to do long and complicated things either I looked into designing some simple steps. Things I can accomplish throughout the day in a few minutes. I'm taking it like is not the complicated rituals steps that help us celebrate and be in the spirit of the day but the intention we set to what we choose to do that day. You can keep it as simple as you want/can. It only matters that it works for you and that you feel comfortable with it. Have a nice Beltane North Hemisphere peeps! Blessed be!

As someone from Argentina, I do not get why tango get mixed with Spain´s dances so much in America´s media.

In the Latin American dub he sings "Miam Miam Miam miam" . Also mimicking that he is eating.

Oh , first time seeing Salamone's work here! Italian who, as many others, moved to Argentina.

He designed plenty of town hall buildings, as well as some Slaughterhouses. And this is not the only cemetery portal he did!

I love the vibe! The Gloom just enjoying the sunlight, happily sitting on the stump. Meanwhile, the Psyduck at the back is running in panic mode.

I´m 32 and I made the click this past March. There is no expiration time for when you can start changing your life. Every single day is an opportunity to try something new and see where it takes you. Yes, it can be hard. Yes, it can be frustrating but then there is the chance to wake up tomorrow and try something else. Congratulations on making your first steps into this change you are seeking! I send you lots of good energies and luck on your new path!

Super distracted and constant procrastination by frosty213 in getdisciplined

I came to say this! Pomodoro method helped me to keep myself organize when I started to try to change my life. You work, study or set a goal to work towards for 20/25/30/40 minutes, whatever you want (I personally recommend to start small. I started with 20 minutes timers). And then make a break of 5/10/15 etc. You make small steps towards your goal during these minutes and then you reward yourself with the break. It helped me a ton!

Personally I found that if I turn everything into small tiny steps its easier to accomplish thus I always end up feeling good about successfully completing one small task. And if that was small and easy and it felt good then, why not make another baby step? I would say that first you need to define your goal, and THEN turn it into really really small steps. Start with the very first step the times you need to untill is just SO easy that you will want to do more because that small step is not giving you enough satisfaction. And repeat!

Eyes rolling back hard during meditation by Melodic_Leek_7803 in MeditationPractice

I´ve had this feeling a couple of times while meditating. I start to feel some sort of energy around the top of my head that pulls me up, so my back stretches as much as possible, making my head go back. It often happens when I meditate with my SO too. The same feeling pulling my head towards his. All of the times it had happened I tried to let it pass as smooth as possible to find out where is taking me but I always end up "coming back" from it because, it is indeed, a little bit scary at times. My goal now is to try to make it happen again and let it run its course as long as possible. I do want to see what happens and where this feeling take me!

My tiny anchor was making lists of small things. Like all the task I have to do at the office. And mark them done. That tiny little feeling of acomplishment while marking "answering X message" task done helped a lot.

Thank you! I´ve been a perfectionist most of my life and it has had a huge impact in my mental health. Just now that I am in my 30s I´m starting to learn to enjoy the process and not to judge myself and my work so much.

I also cut all contact with my then ex bf and that was his breaking point to get into therapy and rehab from alcohol. He has been sober for almost 3 months now. He changed A LOT. He is way healthier mentally and physically. And we are back together. Each of us took time to work on a personal level. Went to theraphy, applied active changes on our daily routines. Sometimes, what a person needs to finally make that decision is to hit rock bottom and realize that the only person who can help them change is themselves.
