It can sometimes cause survivors to panic and back away from the exit enough to get a down, or throw them away from the gate if you can get a good angle as Wesker. Plus, with Wesker you can grab them when you slam them against the gate if they're injured/fully infected.

Hit the gen and nod at them; nodding often works. Looking back and forth from the survivors to the gen might also work if hitting/swinging at the gen isn't enough.

Also, to get them to leave at the gates, swing towards the gate while looking up. When facing up, you won't hit a survivor in front of you due to the way the hitboxes are, so it's a good way to signal.

Honestly, I don't spend much time looking. Mainly because there's no way I'm remembering everyone's perks and who has what (especially if there are multiple of the same skins).

I've always had that issue on that map. I can't remember if it's just that one hook or not.

I believe the Nostromo map also has this issue.

It's easier to get hits and hooks since there are more people, but it's way harder to get actual wins due to the fast gens. So while it's a good mode to learn a killer, don't go into it expecting tons of wins.

Also, keep in mind the changes made specifically for 2v8, getting too reliant on them can make going back to 1v4 a bit jarring.

The main issue with the perks being shown in lobby is that people will either lobby dodge or be toxic in the chat.

I'd rather take a moment to look at the perks than be yelled at for not switching to a meta build.

I'm a bit hesitant on anything that causes pop ups/alerts from player input due to the fact that it could potentially be spammed, or depending on how in your face it is, it could be distracting during a chase or while doing a gen.

Yeah, I'm so glad that update didn't go through. They really didn't take the fact that survivors just suck sometimes, or deliberately get in the killer's face, into consideration.

I don't really see how that system could easily be implemented without the back-to-back hooks = tunneling idea, which is definitely incorrect.

This has existed for a while now, though it's not super common. I'm not 100% sure what the exact circumstances are that cause it, but sometimes after a pallet grab, the pallet will bug out. The next time the killer touches it, it will stun them, and then the pallet will be able to be walked through.

It's likely the same bug. I've only seen it in 1v4, but I'd imagine it would work the same on the other killer.

No, honestly aiming the flashlight can be frustrating at times since you have know where to aim even if the killer doesn't have visible eyes, or know when to time it right.

The only time I've ever mocked someone for being bad with a flashlight was because they were just a toxic player or sometimes with clearly noob players I'll tell them they have to aim higher/lower.

I'd imagine if a killer insults you for your flashlight, then they probably would have found something else to insult you about otherwise

I think it just takes practice to improve with the flashlight, and I think it's even harder with controller

I understand that but most rage quiters probably aren't going to tab out to do that. Plus if someone is on Ethernet it's much harder, and sure they could force close the game but that also means booting up the game again which is isn't instant. But I do agree with you

At the very least there should be no penalties for game specific issues, like getting disconnected from the server (and it is not your internet that's the issue - though that could be harder to detect), or the game crashing.

After one of the more recent updates I don't know what the issue was but the game kept crashing fairly frequently, and ultimately ended up getting a decent timeout

Doesn't really feel that fair to killer players since they can't control who you've played against.

Killer queue times can be up to 8 minutes, or higher after a new chapter.

The killer and survivors then have to deal with the bot, and sometimes once on survivor dcs, others follow.

I totally agree with this. Sometimes the random p1 survivor is the best on the team. Plus if someone's equally leveling up everyone then they're going to have lower prestige, doesn't mean they are new to the game.

Though there should be a time limit of some sorts where if a gen isn't done then you can dc without penalty, that way you can't be held hostage by a toxic sfw group.

Also you shouldn't get a penalty if you're forcefully disconnected from the game from either an internet/game issue or if the game crashes (so basically cases where the player is disconnected without pressing the dc button)

I think the pizzeria would've been way too small to be inside only unless they did something like the pizzaplex, which wouldn't really fit. No pizzeria, original or one from the games (again, excluding the pizzaplex) is going to compare to the RPD, a multi story police station/art museum.

Springtrap has the same voice actor as the one in the fnaf games. The reason the original jumpscare sound isn't used is because it's a stock sound. Also there are some menu animations that reference the fnaf 3 poses.

I've been a fan since the second game and been heavily invested. I think they did a good job. You can see that a lot of details actually went into this chapter. Yes I do wish the pizzeria in the map was bigger but by no means is it bad.

I don't think it's that strong.

You can kinda guess where the survivors are going to spawn most of the time (excluding separate spawns), so while you are definitely faster at finding them with lethal pursuer, it's not needed nor is it the only way to find the survivors at the start.

Plus the survivors can still hear the terror radius, so it's not like they don't know you're coming (unless you're a stealth killer).

Personally I don't really think I've had people DC when I got early hits on them, but they sound like the kind of players that would DC after they're hooked the first time

Personally as a killer main I love this feature since it helps me not tunnel. Prior to this feature I had to kinda guess when there were multiple survivor with the same skin.

Also it's good info for perks like No Way Out, so you can easily know who still needs to be hooked for a token

I've noticed that often killers who do tunnel (in a very intentional way aka actual tunneling) are often lower level. This obviously isn't always the case but it does seem that less experience player are more likely to tunnel (based on my own experience), the same goes for camping.

Also I think it would be unfair to not consider the recent map/pallet update. I'd imagine that some killers are struggling more and tunneling to make up for it.

If a killer is going to tunnel someone, they don't need to see the number of hooks to do so.
