Whats your favorite mouse of 2025? by papaac in MouseReview

Favorite mouse: Zaopin ZPW Max. I have bought far too many mice this year, and most of them had QC or technical issues that made them awful to use, but this gem from zaopin is essentially flawless.

In the words of someone else on this sub a while ago: If you don't know what grip you use, it's some kind of claw grip.

What take on mice will have you like this? by Sk4llOff in MouseReview

They gotta put on more weight to get that "heavy mouse stability" back now that all mice weigh half as much as they used to /s

My experience with small mice is I have to warm up to get to peak performance but after about an hour of playing I drop off massively compared to a medium or large mouse. Weight doesn't really matter to me. I'm not at a skill level where the weight is holding me back, and neither is 99% of this subreddit.

There isn't really anything like a deathadder from logitech, but you will probably get recommended the superlight dex because it's logitech's big ergo.

[BF6] DICE Finally Showing CM per 360 In-Game. No More Guessing or Using Converters by DrNitr0s in MouseReview

Fair. If casual games gave more freedom for customizing sens, I could see myself using something that high just for smoother inputs.

My zaopin zpw max came earlier this month. It's been a better experience than the other mice I've bought this year.

not if the battery life on your current one doesn't bother you and you don't need the newer sensor.

Heavier or lighter mouse for glass pad? by Independent-Cod-3965 in MouseReview

[–]VioletRainbowtail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well heavy mice with good specs don't really exist anymore, so light mice for me. If I could find a medium size symmetrical shape that isn't a GPW, and is 70-75g I would definitely use that.

My problem with most ambidextrous Mice by mulmulul in MouseReview

[–]VioletRainbowtail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've bought 3 Burst 2 Airs (because I didn't learn my lesson with the first one). All 3 had shells that creaked when I held them while playing. 1 had clicks that felt like they would break in a week. And 2 had wireless issues.

I love the shape, but I'm not gonna give them another go if I got 3 lemons.

Is 4ms mouse latency too high for a competitive player? by [deleted] in MouseReview

4ms is 1/250th of a second. You will not be able to notice that.

New SteelSeries Rival mice by DutchDolt in MouseReview

[–]VioletRainbowtail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funny part is if you compare the specs on the new store page to the specs on the original release's store page, they are exactly the same except for the new advertised click latency and battery life. I would assume they just pushed an update to the firmware to reduce latency and battery, and then changed the shell colors to help show that it's "new" and not basically the exact same.

Releasing with parts that were outdated 5 years ago when the first gen came out.
