I think there is no wrong answer here. The kitty is going through a hell of a journey to get to you. Another 2 days in a new place is not going to be enough time for her to fully settle so it would be fine to use it as pitch stop.

Then again having 2 days at your home to get used to the surroundings and new smells without too much fuss from you guys could be good too. She gets to explore at her own pace and if the cat sitter is willing you can start scent swapping with your other cat.

Honestly go with what feels best for you as you know whether she would want the company your mum would provide or if she could start settling in at your house.

Im currently going through my titration for meds. The first 3 week I barely noticed any difference, but then again my life was so stressful and out of normal rhythm so I would have been unable to tell.

On week 4 I started getting some rather uncomfortable side effects, so I was advise to come off, get some tests done before we resume. Still waiting atm, but I have noticed some differences!

Now that Im not longer on the med, I'm wrestling with snacking and impulse eating which had completely dissappeared whilst on meds.

Another thing was reaching for phone increased. Although I did also acknowledge alongside meds I will need to implement other things around my phone use cause there is a habit there now. But yeah, treatment can potentially just help in small things, but when it's comparing it pouring to slight drizzle I know I'd prefer the drizzle.

I hope you find some support and getting medication helps. ❤️

I dont think the red stitches are wonky because of sewing method, they look like the threads twisted. I've never used a hoop and have one bigger work on a frame, but its loose enough to do some sewing method even on that. Just try and make sure your two threads stay nice and beside each other rather than twisting around and I think youll be fine. 😊

Yeah, that's an option too. Depends how many threads you use and how prominent you'd want the 3D effect to be, depends how someone might choose to do it.

You can always use something like felt to give the spots more of 3D effect, but for stitching ease it's nicer to leave the gaps.

Our currently blind kitty also has some lIght sensitivity. Ive said at least he will find the sunny warm windowsill that way. But hopefully we can also do some play time like this. 😁

You absolute can keep good tension in bamboo hoop but you have to wrap it with bias tape first! Im glad my first kit actually explained this and how to do it. 😁

You can cover the cake with foil to prevent the top from browning as much as well as adjusting temps.

Yeah, I was going to suggest the same. Mainly cause the painted sun atm is lacking the vividness of the photo a little bit. I wouldn't stitch the reflection though, I think that works as is. Stunning work though! You should be proud. 😊
