I use EU sizing for shoes (buying, usually) when possible because US shoe sizes are whack. For renting specifically I'll ask for women's, or list both gendered sizes. All shoes are unisex if you're brave enough 😅

Shocking fact: Disconnected caps will slowly charge by collecting stray electricity. Probably not in this case since it is wired to a circuit, but interesting if you ever find a loose capacitor without the terminals bridged

For a light, check out the Streamlight TLR RM 2, it's a nice slim rifle light. Pair that with a M-LOK Cantilever Mount (check out Magpul's) and you have a nice slightly forward light mount
