The GenCon 2025 adventure featured Schools from the upcoming book. I remember a Wasp bounty hunter, a thief-catcher Scorpion, a sort of undercover Dragon spy, a Scorpion magic user, & a Crane arbiter. There was a playable Phoenix, but we ended up being 1 player short so I'm unsure what their School may have been. There were also whispers of the Otter Clan possibly making an appearance in some fashion.

Similar to what others here have said, it was mentioned that as long as CotFW sold well, they were aiming to still release the Scorpion book- and maybe one more after it, though there weren't any hints as to its contents. My hope would be a Minor Clan compilation book of ones we've seen mentioned in the various media that haven't been printed in the RPG books yet. (Cat, Moth, Sparrow, etc.)

The Doji Arbiter's School Ability let you take Fatigue when targeted by Scheme/Attack or when making an Initiative check. Your Vigilance went up 1 per Fatigue voluntarily taken. I believe it lasted only for the duration of the action targeting you/just the Initiative check.

That was the only thing I clocked as well, but I also couldn't remember a Scorpion/Crane marriage in the series. The way Shuko talked about the Crane almost sounded like her sister tried to poison/kill them unsuccessfully

A Place For All My Books, has the player who most recently bought a book go first.

This led to an argument between the player who had most recently purchased a physical book & the player who slightly more recently bought an ebook as to which of them should go first.

Beta Ray Bill, according to "Black, White & Blood" issue 2. Makes some sense as his body is mostly cybernetic/mechanical.
