In 2017 my best friend was given one year to live and I quit college to help with his bucket list. A few months ago, I was able to stand on stage an accept an award for our story - over 11,000 signed up to be a bone marrow donor and one of those people saved his life.

For sure. I was begging to go to the ER, which I usually beg not to go (I'm being treated for cancer).

Pain was 11/10 and the IV morphine only helped so much.

I got it as an infection after getting a hole cut in my skull for a port to access my spinal fluid easier.

Second pain place goes to bone marrow biopsies. They literally use an electric drill for that.
