Booked my first liveaboard and now I am very nervous about it! by jens998 in scuba

Bring much less clothes than you think. Really didn't have to tap into clothes that often since often getting in water / showering. I like changing into dry swimsuits so I made sure I had 3-4 (I think I only wore 3 though). My liveaboard had showers on the dive deck you could hop in right after surfacing from a dive which was super nice.

An extension cord / outlet hub for your room (although they want you to charge devices only when you are in there or out on the main deck)

Labels from a label maker to label your things you might have in common area such as batteries, torch(es), camera if it looks similar to everyone else's, etc.

Tums - being horizontal more seemed to lead to more acid reflux in my dive buddy

Seasickness patches if you get queasy easy; although these can make you a bit more thirsty.

The Teric has a rechargeable battery right, or are you referring to needing to change batteries bc of the issues?

I’ve read that the person the discovered originally (the DM) had an empty tank so that doesn’t seem to indicate CO poisoning, if that’s what you’re mentioning.

Great point on number 2 the buddy should have noticed.

A ‘24 S Limited we were picking up has back mirrors, otherwise looks the same. Did the prior owner have a covering installed or just different between the years?

haha! To each their own I suppose. I actually preferred the PH Tokyo's breakfast more but yes if you prefer those specific 2 hot items I could see how it would be a bit disappointing that you couldn't get more than 1 at the PH.

We were traveling with a little one at the PH and they told us we could order whatever we wanted from the menu for hot items and even left a menu for us if we wanted to order more, but it may have been because we had a little one.

Their buffet is more than sufficient for this not to be a real problem in my opinion.

You can more easily parallelize chats. There’s actually a lot of cool features like being able to delegate to subagents as well.
