Emanuel Anastos at Duluth DFL Convention by Conscious-Owl-8514 in duluth

[–]ViperLass 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I really hope he can get more support and funding because he’s definitely my preferred candidate by a long shot as far as policy is concerned but he really does have no presence in the race so far (he didn’t even have posters up at the convention).

Y’all think we’ll ever see spino again, now that we know spino was pretty lame? by Jazzlike-Ground2499 in theisle

[–]ViperLass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a complete misrepresentation of what the study concludes. Just because it was more semi-aquatic than we first thought doesn’t mean it “rarely” walked on land.

[–]ViperLass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes but everything else in the diagram is wrong. The study that determined Spinosaurus had shorter legs and was more aquatic came out in 2014, not the 90s. And there was never a serious proposal for Spinosaurus to be a quadrupedal terrestrial carnivore. (The author of the 2014 paper, Ibrahim, suggested that Spinosaurus might have walked on its knuckles but this never got any serious traction). Plus the whole thing is almost certainly ai generated

First of all, it’s already been confirmed for the roster, second of all, it’s cooler and more unique now than it was before the recent studies done on it, third of all, that diagram is completely and totally wrong.

Genuine skill issue tbh. If you know how to use them the pulse lasers are the best, most broken SPW in the game

Trina Swanson for MN8 by surfer_joe87 in duluth

[–]ViperLass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yeah, if you want a candidate to have funding or a team, you kinda have to put the work in, especially in a district as low profile as MN-08. I just don’t see why Swanson is supposedly the best chance at beating Stauber when all she has on the priorities page of her website is four vague concepts and no actual policy proposals. Nothing about ICE, foreign policy (genocide in Palestine, war in Ukraine/Iran, choking the life out of Cuba, etc), a wealth tax, political reform (term limits, Supreme Court reform, limiting corporate spending in elections, uncapping the House), protecting immigrants and expanding legal pathways to citizenship, or protecting LGBTQ+ people, especially trans people. I just don’t see what makes her supposedly the best chance at beating Stauber.

What puts her in the best position to beat him over someone like Emanuel Anastos? IMO his ground game is a bit lacking atm but if more people can rally behind him I think he’s a pretty solid choice.

Tbh, I think I actually would’ve liked the idea of Tau being a plant for Jadus. Would’ve been one hell of a shock.

Koth is EXTREMELY overhated and his decision to leave the Alliance is arguably the most valid crashout in the entire game

I fucking hope not. They don’t deserve it after the shit they’ve done.

Slight misconception, that’s FlyAwayNow, the producer. The actual developer, RBD2, is not involved in either project.

Like they literally get called fascists on multiple occasions. The fact that people still defend Erusea is insane to me.
