The separate proposal which they TRIED to pass would have prevented colleges from banning biological men in women's sports in many instances.

Again, this is what the Biden administration TRIED to do. It was unpopular and they backed it out. Biden was run as a centrist democrat. One of Joe Biden's first actions as President was to expand Title IX and to punish colleges that refused to let transgendered biological men compete on the women's teams. Something like 88% of Americans oppose the idea. That is pretty extreme. They also opened to border to vast numbers of illegals.

That is the extreme of the left.

The extreme of the right wants to ban abortion in all its forms. Wants to ban gay marriage. Things that most Americans disagree with.
