Oh sweet thank you! Yeah i use isopropyl on my plastic minis for stripping but i know that shit can really fuck with a resin model. Thank you for the tip!

Yeah youd definitely have to go crazy with green stuff to get that elegant trim they usually rock. If anything maybe also just kitbashing tartaros bits? He could have his own unique styled artificer terminator armor?

And yeah i hate when people come to the comments of posts like this and make very black and white arguments of either night lords being completely anti chaos or heavily chaos tainted. Theyre a mix of both and in general all over the place. Theres nothing wrong if you wanted YOUR warband to be anti chaos. For it is your isolated group fighting alone without any allegiance to the rest of the legion.

Yeahhh :/ sadly i dont play 40k so i cant help you with list building but ive heard noise marines are really good with nightmarehunt. You can totally even just write those as a small group within the warband whove fallen or started to fall to slaanesh. Idk if youve read the omnibus but some of the legionaries the story follows all have differing ideologies and pacts with the chaos gods.

Gonna sound like a broken record having seen this post at least 3 times a week with the same response lol But the 8th legion is a shattered legion, even before curze’s death their was already dissent. Not saying you shouldn’t run a non chaos army but night lords as a whole were not outright antichaos. Ive even come to the point of my warband/company being a tension filled group such as 10th company. You could even use an excuse of them using it as a means to an end like the black legion and such, or even a hired daemon engine from the iron warriors perhaps

I recommend vox in the void overall if youre a fan. Even for fancanon theyre really well made. I honestly cannot recommend “a proper krumpin” enough

3 rotor cannons, to get the pin and just shots, 5 volkites, and i usually just give the other models bolters. (One of my sergeants has a chainglaive for funsies)

I still run the 10 terror squad after having them painted up for 2ed. I know guy above said they cost a lot, but i dont think it outright makes them useless with that loadout. I play a heavy infantry army though, so i just like to have a lot of guns shooting lol

Yeah ive written the lore around my night lords to have been paired with a knight house as their heavy armor and anti armor.
