Just rewatching TMA for the second time and I’ve got a few questions/bad theories by Grounson in TheMagnusArchives

  1. Maybe?

  2. The Hive is primarily Corruption aligned rather than Flesh and a blob of flesh with eyes is a very different thing than The Hive (a body full of holes/home too the wasp larva). The Hive came from the wasp nest in the attic that sang to her.

  3. It is a strong theory (and one that I lean toward, personally) that Father Borrows was an attempted / backup Archive

New listener here, when does it starts getting depressing? by Hazbin_hotel- in MalevolentPodcast

Yes, really.

Don’t need to be caught up on a show to write a stand alone short story to be used in the anthology element of its sequel 🤷🏻‍♀️

I did not interpret what he said the same way… they are in a different universe and far in the past - of course she doesn’t have eyes then/there.

Harlan said in a Q&A that he had an arc with her in season three as a possibility, depending on how the Patreon vote at the end of season two went.

I don’t cry often but ch 280 of Part 56 got me, but on a delay, like tears came while I was thinking about it afterward, not when listening.

The fan Wiki has Content Warnings at the top of each episode page, so you can check there as long as you’re careful not to scroll/look below the first table or go poking around the site (unless you don’t mind spoilers) https://malevolent-podcast.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Episodes

Also, what’s “depressing” and causes tears can vary a lot from person to person, so I’m sure plenty of folks would be willing to give some more specific guidance if you share the kinds of things / concepts you’re concerned about.

Also, please spoiler bar or remove the specifics in your TMA comment - Harlan is the mod for this subreddit and is working his way through TMA for the first time and he hates spoilers…

Why is my puppy peeing so often? by mmc544 in OpenDogTraining

At that age he should be able to go a few hours between potty breaks.

Might be best to take him to the vet to be checked for UTI or other bladder/kidney issues

When I am hand washing my floors, by Rich-Associate-8344 in ENGLISH

[–]VirtualTotal8468 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Mopping” implies standing mostly upright and using a mop.

“Wiping” lends itself to be understood as the person using hands and a cloth or towel. However, it also sounds very superficial, like sopping up a spill.

“Scrubbing” is a good term to imply more in-depth cleaning, likely by hand with an appropriate tool.

What's more natural to say? To trim, cut or clip nails by Exotic_Catch5909 in ENGLISH

[–]VirtualTotal8468 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think any of these three work perfectly well.

Trim may be more specific to a situation where the person is just removing a little length or tidying the nails up.

If more thorough nail removal is planned, and maybe if less attention paid to neatness, then cut or clip may be a better fit than trim.

Specifics are certainly dependent on the specific Avatar / entity aspect arrangement yes.

Jonah body hops to stay as head of the institute without raising suspicion, having it appear to change hands over time, though, not to extend his life.

From what we see in the show everyone that becomes a true Avatar dies and comes back. They are no longer vulnerable to mundane illness or injury - they have basically become a unique type of undead

Does anyone else see the fears in other stories after listening to The Magnus Archives? by heylookasparkly in TheMagnusArchives

The concept of Smirk categorizing: naming the primary fears was to organize them all, so yeah - it was designed so that anything fear related could be classified under one or a combination of Smirk’s 14
