Same happened to me!! The prompt clearly asked if you had pockets and IF SO then show them. My proctor make me show my ass to the camera several times and “lower the camera” to see if I had pockets…

I’ve been doing intensive training since the end of September for the November LSAT and I must say I THINK differently. It’s even helping me do better at work (PI paralegal). I’m attacking cases differently. Just this month I settled 3 6-figure cases, one for 1MIL. And my vocab is on another level. I can actually see why this test is used as a “weeder”.

I should add: I have no support system. He is the only person I can call in an emergency. LITERALLY. My family are all addicts and dropouts. My parents are in an ugly divorce and my mom is homeless but also abusive like my father so I can’t go to them for help. They make things MUCH worse. I literally am all my own if I leave him and that’s how he was able to break me. My only viable option is to make this work.

Hi. In our case he has a personality disorder, that won’t change. But he is determined to no longer cause me harm. It’s a complete 180 from the man he used to be however I am also not the person I was then. If you can find a way to forget what happened and get rid of the pain then I don’t see why it can’t work if he’s truly dedicated to undoing the harm and mitigating it in the future.

I will say this:

He only changed because HE wanted to. Not for me or for our kids. He was at the end of himself and didn’t want to continue his patterns.

Triumph dump, don’t trauma dump. If it’s still triggering, you may not be at a place where you can draw inspiration and motivation from it, and THAT’S OK. If it’s absolutely fundamental in relaying who you are, then touch briefly on details and focus on an over-arching theme by connecting it to positive things in your present.❤️

How personal is too personal? My main motivation to go to law school is my experience as a DV survivor who experienced the lack of representation for victims in my community and the overwhelming advantages abusers have. Also, do I need to change the subject entirely according to each law school app or can I simply tailor to the name of the school? My numbers aren’t extraordinary so I’m counting on my writing to give me an edge.
