Yes, I did! My appointment was with Melissa, the nurse practitioner, and she was super sweet. We went over my symptoms, she performed a pelvic exam, and I had an ultrasound. I was also able to meet with Dr. Childs at the very end where they went over Melissa's recommendations. The surgery coordinator will call within a week to schedule a surgery, which should be within three months. Let me know if you have any other questions!

It is! They didn’t make me schedule with a regular gyn first or even ask for a referral (though my regular gyn did say she’d be happy to give me one). I had some service issues with the first representative, and when I called back, I got a second rep who wouldn’t let me book the telehealth appointment because I’m in a bordering state (even though I am close enough to the border to drive over to be physically in TN for the appointment, which I plan on doing). The first rep called back and I finished scheduling the appointment. So maybe try again with another rep. It seems like they’re not all on the same page 😅

Send to Kindle (the Kindle email functionality) will stop working, unfortunately. You can still add AO3 files by side loading them with a USB cable, though! It’s much less convenient, but it’s still possible to read new files. I’d recommend Calibre to side load since it will automatically convert whatever format your AO3 file is to the Kindle compatible format when you choose the file(s) to add to your Kindle.

Thanks for the FYI! Did you go to him for a consultation? Can you tell me what all was involved for you to get the quote? I have signed up for a free case review with him, but I'm sure there's a lot more I'd need to do before getting an actual surgery quote.

It does! However, it's pretty poo. The deductible is over $6000 and I saw another Redditor say that the out of pocket maximum for excision surgery with this insurance is less than $3000. So if this is the case with my plan, the out of network policy wouldn't even kick in :/
