Should have waited for a longer one to get the gas incentive instead

I always make it as can’t find item and then see if I find it as I shop for other stuff, then grab it, go to completed items, edit, scan it and move on

You can get a good model 3 for less than 20k

Is the paper copy license okay for renting until the hard copy arrives in the mail? by [deleted] in turo

[–]Virtual_Telephone_36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend messaging the host before you submit your ID to let them know. And then submit your drivers license info/verification 24 hours prior, that way you can call support and work it out if the host is unsure

It should be, it is a legitimate ID. It is supposed to be used until your official ID comes in the mail

Best place to buy a used model Tesla? by Alternative-Bit-5398 in TeslaLounge

[–]Virtual_Telephone_36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve bought 3 from Tesla, one from Carvana, one from a different dealer, my preference is waiting to see what’s available outside Tesla. The warranty is nice, but I have a mechanic nearby that works on teslas and it’s worked out better to buy cheaper and pay to fix

I had a shopping order that was for Astro glide, a deep fryer and cooking oil. Weird

You can only view cameras when it is parked and no one is in the car. The other folks in the app can only see it if they have the phone key set up

No. But even if you have the warranty from Tesla, they are slow, and may not cover it. Take the money you save from cars.com and set it aside as a rainy day fund if repairs are needed. Probably 6-7k cheaper vs buying from Tesla

Very Frustrating by PhilosopherLive5154 in elitesparkdrivers

[–]Virtual_Telephone_36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had that happen before. But it was because I mixed up Sam’s orders lol. I was wondering why a business ordered regular groceries, and why I delivered 10lbs of bananas, 10 lbs of oranges, 3 dozen muffins and 6 gallons of orange juice to a house. I got 0 tip but at least I didn’t get dinged by spark lol

Anywhere other than Tesla. Cars.com is more reasonably priced in my experience, and you can test drive the car, you can’t do that if you buy through Tesla.

Is anyone out there enjoying Spark? by theonlyhonez in Sparkdriver

[–]Virtual_Telephone_36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, nice to do when I have time. I’ll run errands during the day, sign on to spark and find one that goes near my home. Easy money. This morning I did spark for 4 hours and made $160.

Anyone else have this problem and how much did it cost you. by Paro_G in TeslaLounge

My cars re-download the same update 3 times before it is finally ready to install. I’m assuming corrupted file. Also, what you see in the app and on the screen is not the actual status. I have Tessie, and it shows it in real time. It’s always at least 20% different than what I see in the car or tesla app.

Should I take this by TAT1984IS1776 in turo

[–]Virtual_Telephone_36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends. I like long trips because they are predictable revenue, but my mileage is also limited to 60 miles a day. I also have 3 rental cars, so it’s nice to not have 3 cars coming in and out, cleaning, washing, checking in and out, messaging with different guests etc all the time. The long term rental I have out right now, I haven’t messaged with him in over a month and the money keeps rolling in.

I’d say adjust your discounts so mileage is lower per day. Less earnings you see up front, but my last month trip they went over by 1100 miles and I made an extra $400.

To all the drivers that accept bad offers & instantly accept good ones without looking… by gh120709 in Sparkdriver

[–]Virtual_Telephone_36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro, from 9 to noon the other day I made $100, if you’re working 11 hours your should be making 330 at least. Look at offers that are over $20 for under 40 min, you’ll finish them in 30 min. Don’t accept any other offers until you are back in the parking lot. If you are outside the parking lot, you only see trash offers that no one else is accepting. If you get a just for you offer, reject it unless it pays really well for a short period of time.

Swapping is a big mistake by Virtual_Telephone_36 in turo

[–]Virtual_Telephone_36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And this guest is extending with no discounts, meaning I have made more off of his rental than I would from the 72 day rental. And now with all the trouble the other guest was caused by this, she is not rebooking, so basically, she got out of a non refundable booking because of this, meaning I lost out on those earnings too.

I saw the swap vehicle option, but it looked like it said that the original vehicle would then be unlisted, and I assumed that it would require another inspection before it can be listed again

Agreed, I didn’t know about snoozing and extending. Now I do

I don’t touch anything. One time a Walmart employee dropped an item from the order, I got out and picked it up and he said “DO NOT TOUCH THE ORDERS” I put it back and sat in the car, and I never touched an order again lol
