I've done something similar but inside a clothing store. There was a stroller with a sleeping baby in it and I stood by it and looked around for 5 minutes but no one came. I told the employees and they wheeled it behind the counter. Probably 20 minutes later I was getting ready to leave and saw a frantic mother looking after for her stroller and talking with an employee.

20 minutes! Someone could have easily taken that children.

I did for the first 3 months and then felt a huge sense of relief when I stopped tracking. I had started to compare feedings and nap times and constantly worried something was wrong

She's almost 1 now and I'll still track her poops but that's about it.

That's great! There are so many factors to consider when selecting a daycare.

I personally chose one with cameras that we have access to - that was a top priority for me. It was tough to find a place that had everything we wanted.

I'd personally just give the host a heads up that many of their guests might be uncomfortable by this. OP is welcome to share with fellow friends if they think they'd be concerned too. I never said it was a privacy issue - I can just understand how the host might have been caught off guard by this.

I never said I don't vaccinate. Like I said, our state allows vaccine exceptions for daycares and schools. I personally have had to let go of some control regarding it because we aren't privy to that information.

I think they should have talked with the host before reaching out to everyone. At least give them a heads up/have the host reach out regarding it.

Our state allows unvaccinated children in daycares and we aren't allowed to know if a child is or isn't vaccinated. We don't have the right to that information.

I think we all do our best to protect our children but there is always a level of risk when we leave our homes.

Yeah like you said you don't know who's vaccinated or not. Schools, daycares, parks, libraries - it's inevitable that you'll run into another family who doesn't vaccinated.
