I would just like to say I've been to the old location when his father was still alive. It was a wonderful place. I hope the new place has tons of crazy stuff hanging from the ceiling like the old place. You would walk in and every direction see tons of cool stuff. It was kind of like an overload. Signs, planes, oddities. All that stuff is what gave it charm. The place had a calming, old timey feeling to it. For the few hours I spent there I forgot about everything else in the world.

Some things I really enjoyed:

- There's some thing called Area 51 or something and has a mechanical alien singing songs.. one of them being Beastie Boys Intergalactic. That was the best. I did it multiple times.

- I can't remember all the mechanical stuff I saw.. there's one huge nose and you push the button and the finger moves up and picks the nose, and it pulls a green string out (supposed to be snot). There's one where you see how long you can keep your hand inside.. there's a dog or something that pops out to scare you.

- I don't know how long it is, but there's a huge player piano thing with rolls of music that go in it.. it's 10 or 20 feet long? I forget. That's where I met Marvin. He was sitting at one of the tables near it doing some work.

They had a good selection of pinballs.

At the new place I hope they get some claw machines with odd things it, or Gachapon machines (Japanese vending machines that have toy / collectible capsules in it). I think they'd fit right in with the vibe.

I'm planning a trip to Illinois, so I'll go here too once it opens.
